In any normal gas tank, this would be fine. However, the Honda Express tank does not have much height near the petcock. As you can see by the pic, the plastic screen is longer than the original. When the new one is installed, I can plainly see via endoscope that the plastic screen is getting crushed against the top of the tank. Will it still work, probably. However, does not give me a warm fuzzy that the screen will last if it's forced against the tank that way.
