I ordered this for my over sized lazy boy recliner. My recliner is pretty worn & has a small hole on one arm. Before trashing the recliner, I thought I would try this cover. I so wish I found this cover when I got the recliner because it will be so easy to throw it into the wash. The cover is so easy to put on the chair. When unpacking the cover, I laid it out on my recliner. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that the cover slips over the back of the chair instead of it trying to stay in place with elastic bands. Because it slipped over the back was the selling point for me. It does accommodate a large, fluffy stuffed back. I also LOVE the fact that the arm rest covers go all the way to the end of the arm rests because I have a very small hole on one end & am concerned that it will always tear more. I wish the arms where about 3" longer. I think it would fit toward the back a little better. I haven't put anything in the pockets that are on BOTH sides so I do not know how that will work. My chair is electric & the arm cover hangs over the button but that is no big deal to me. I am so happy with this cover; I would so recommend it to anyone who is considering it.

Love this cover, I'm not having to keep adjusting it constantly. The back of it fits perfectly over the recliner so it stays on. I have bought other covers with the elastic bands and they dont stay on. However the arm cover part doesn't quite fit my chair but it is alot better than others I've tried. I will buy another one in a different color to have a spare one. I would recommend this one, it's a keeper.

I wanted it and put it in my xl recliner. Fits really well, I just tucked it in on the sides and back of the seat so it’s snug. It’s a little short where the feet are but since that doesn’t bother me, I gave it 5 stars.

Despite having the elastic ties to hold the cover into place, this really doesn't stay. I was hoping it would slip and slide far less than it does on our leather recliner. The color is like the picture (our recliner is red, so I got the red cover) and doesn't look bad or stand out, but every time we sit down, it pops right off the arm rests and winds up not doing the one thing it should - protect the material beneath. Also, because it won't stay put, the seams on the front of the arm rest have begun to tear. We've tried adjusting it, even pinning the base beneath the seat cushion instead of on top (we bought it precisely for the arm rest and back protection from small dog's nails when they jump for attention). I do have some mattress elastics coming, and I'm going to try running one under the recliner to clip to the front/underside of the arm rests, to see if that holds them down. Perhaps if your recliner is suede or a textured fabric, this will stay put for you. For us, it's not enough of an improvement to justify the price point.

I put this on my brand new recliner. The size is kind of wonky and I can’t figure out why. The part that goes over the back is fine, but the arms and the seat piece of fabric are really bunched up and it fits the same on both of the different size chairs that I’ve used it on. The first recliner, I used it on has big puffy arms that are longer and fuller, and it had a strange fit on that one and the new Ashley recliner has smaller rectangle shaped arms with a very low profile and it really doesn’t fit this chair. It just looks like a jumbled mess and there’s no way to straighten it out but it’s terrible and it’s been washed many times and all the seams are still together and the elastic band in the back is still intact. Honestly, if I bought another one, I don’t think it would fit right either so I’m gonna stick with this one.

Does a great job making my husband's lift chair look fresh and clean. I love that it is washable and didn't shrink using cold water and a medium heat dryer setting. With that in mind, I have purchased two covers. When dealing with the handicapped, you can always use a back up!

As per the sofa cover I have found the recliner cover to be very durable and have held their colour even after several washes.
