Paprika Hot Paste/Krem

Love this stuff. I originally bought it in Hungary a couple years ago (it is made there, and most of this brand is sold exclusively in Hungary and Germany), and when I ran out I figured that was it until I was able to make it back. Not sure why it took me so long to look on Amazon! I use this to season almost everything I cook. The flavor is amazingly vibrant and versatile, and a tiny bit goes a long way. It's not really spicy, if you're used to spicy cuisine already, but if not, you might find it has a bite to it.

Added some of it in a thick fresh tomato sauce, amazing!

I originally purchased this on a trip to Budapest, then realized I could order it in. I use it to coat and roast pecans, so yummy!

This stuff was recommended to us by our half Hungarian roommate and I'm hooked. It's all but completely replaced powdered paprikas in our cooking, and it's starting to show up in place of tomato paste as well.Seriously, a dash in your mashed potato recipe or added to a roux for a gravy or gumbo goes a long way. Personal favorite: a teaspoon of this tossed in with the trinity to sweat for a bit as the start of a soup. Adds an awesome depth of flavor.

Delicious, exactly what I was looking for. Takes my lecso from great to amazing when I don't hit the pepper lottery. Excellent flavor, good heat. As long as they're selling it I'll never let myself run out.

Made a Hungarian Beef Stew that turned out fabulously. I substituted the PaprikaKrem for the flavorings in the recipe. The recipe mentioned that PaprikaKrem was used in Europe so I was pleased to find it on Amazon.
