Great for the kiddos
A wonderful gift for my nephew for him and his father to do together! Lots of simple recipes, great for people trying to teach their young ones good life skills early!

Perfect for those who don’t know how to cook!
I am one who is NOT a cook at all. Actually, my husband does all the cooking haha but with having a new baby who grew into a toddler eating toddler food instead of baby, I had to do something! Seen a lot about this book and decided to give it a go. I’m so glad I did! I’m a picky eater, so a lot I wouldn’t eat, but there’s a WIDE variety of foods to make that I LOVE for my girl! I want her to try different things! But the recipes are super versatile, easy, and from what I’ve tasted so far, super tasty! But the important thing was, it being easy for someone like me who doesn’t cook to follow! Which, it is!

Child's excitement
Toddler excited about book. He especially enjoyed the pictures so he could pick with recipe to try first. I like the spaces set aside for your personal comments, tremendous idea.

Fun recipes
Have already used many of these recipes with my kids. Most of them are so great and delicious. And fun to make! Appreciate how the book is organized by breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert sections.I do believe this book has so much more potential if it had more diverse recipes. There are a lot of wasted pages (in my opinion) On set up, safety, to expect, etc., pages in the beginning (seems common sense as I know I can expect a bit of a mess).

Eh
I admire their effort and the book looks nice. But this isn't easily read for a 4yr old as it is written in the same way adult recipes are with all the unwanted storytelling part of it and all. 13 pages in the beginning for tips with a toddler but then gives adult tasks that aren't appropriate for a young beginner. There are different Levels for each recipe but that is silly when there are only 30 recipes - they should all be the same level - Beginner. No pictures to help guide her and the instructions were written for adults, not little people. She can read already but there are way too many words in this book. She was disengaged immediately. Many of the recipes are extras and dessert so I'm glad I didn't buy the baking book too. Multiple recipes for a smoothie? A smoothie isn't a recipe or a meal. Same with 3 pizza recipes? My daughter is not going to eat most of what is in here. Almost all the dinner options are a thumbs down for us as we don't eat rice or spaghetti and some of the ingredients aren't even available at my rural grocery.I was really hoping for something that would grab her attention and make her excited, make US excited together because I don't like being in the kitchen either, but there is nothing about this book that feels like it was made for her besides the fun shapes of some of the items. This was not what I was looking for and probably sending it back. Better suited for a family that already cooks together and has all the extras like a waffle maker, dutch oven and food processor. Oh and a dishwasher.....
