Great quality LP4 to SATA adapter
Solid LP4 to Sata adapter that I have had to use in older PC repairs. The LP4 connector fits very snug on the power supply end and the SATA snapped on the drive. Works great no issues at all

So Clever and Extremely Useful!
What a wonderful little cable!I recently built the PC I am using now and due to cable management, I had to find a workaround to deliver power to my Samsung EVO Series 120GB SSD. Luckily, I came across this gem and ordered it right away. Since I only have two fans in my case, my string of 4 Pin Molex connectors had one extra connector open and I managed to fit it next to the SSD which definitely keeps it powered and running solid for more than a month now. Now I have a nice and clean case from cables and have this item in my Wish List in case I need another one!Keep in mind that it is somewhat short so that added a small, but a definitely easier, challenge to organizing cables to fit.Hope this review helps :)

It's a cable - what more can you say.
It does what it is supposed to do so you can hook up power to your SATA drives. I found the Molex end to be a little loose on one power cable (bought two) but its working OK. I would just prefer it to be tighter.Revised 7/10/13Had to replace my power supply and this adapter fits snugly on the new power supply so I revised my stars up 1 to 4.

This product looks like it is good quality
I'm going to give this five stars despite not using it yet. I originally ordered this because the power supply was listed with only 1 sata power connection. Upon receiving the power supply, I saw that it had two. This product looks like it is good quality, and would get the job done. I'll most likely need to use this when I add more hard drives to my NAS.

Exactly as expected
I built a computer about a month ago, and of course skimped on the power supply, which only turned out to have one SATA connector. The problem: I had two SATA devices; my hard drive and my DVD drive. The solution: get this SATA power adapter. It took about 30 seconds to find, another 30 seconds to order, and 2 days to ship (free). I have had no problems with it whatsoever. I even forgot I was using it until I got an email asking me to review it. It works 100% as intended.

Cheap and does what it's supposed to do
Bought this because I added a second hard drive on my PC but my power supply only had 2 SATA power connectors. It is a piece of wire and it worked. Made sure that the corresponding wires matched up on both ends as to avoid ending up like the unfortunate few reviewers here who fried their devices. Everything matched up fine and it was straight plug and play after. I used this so that I could power my DVD drive since I used the SATA connector from that on my new hard drive. No complaints thus far and the price was great.

It's an adapter cable. And it works.
First and foremost, the product works, it's just not the quality that I expected. My story below.I bought a new computer and oddly enough it had the older style 4 Pin power plugs, with a bunch of converters for the existing components. So I had to purchase some converters to be able to add an additional hard drive and additional dvd drive. As I do with most purchase needs, I log on to Amazon, find what I need, and a couple clicks later I move on with my life, until the mail lady arrives. This time, Crazy-Store was the lucky seller.I used to think that if a product was on Amazon, you didn't have to worry about quality too much. Meaning, I felt that Amazon was kind of the elite online shopping experience where you didn't have to worry too much about the seller. I imagined that Amazon was doing some kind of pre-screening or something like that to ensure they are reputable, provide good service, ship quickly, etc.... In other words, I viewed Amazon as your safe bet for good quality transaction and good quality product, vs. ebay, the wild wild west of online shopping, where anyone can sell anything, and you never know what you're going to get until it drops on your door step.So here were the two shockers I experienced with this transaction from Crazy-Store.1. Crazy Shipping Estimate - Anxious to install the hard drive with all my precious data in my new computer, I checked Amazon multiple times in the following days after I clicked purchase. When I received the shipping confirmation email from Amazon, I quickly jumped on to track my package to find out when I would be starting my install.... No tracking info was available yet. But the alarming part was my estimated delivery date was 40 days from my purchase date. WHAT????? I nearly canceled my order and drove down to the local parts store. I kept checking for tracking info, and 10 days later, the estimated delivery still showed 40 days away, but the tracking information now showed that it was at least in my state (AZ). Luckily in the end, the actual shipping time was only 11 days (still much longer than my normal Amazon shipping times). Ends up Crazy-Store ships from China, and the 40 day estimate is to allow time for customs.2. Crazy Craftsmanship - Connectors are low quality. On the 11th day after order, my anticipation to get my new computer up and running is beyond what my patience level could handle, so I tear in to the package as I'm walking to my house from the mailbox. There they are, two cables, just as I had ordered. Powering down my PC and removing the side panel seemed to take forever. But luckily I had pre-mounted the drive and SATA cable, so all I had to do was plug in the power and I would be on my way. Cable 1, as I'm trying to plug the cable in, it's not a simple plug in and go. I was having to fidget with it, line up pins, hold wires in place, push connectors back in to place. This was not good, one of the connectors pushed completely out. So with cable #1 now located on the other side of the room, I proceed to open cable #2. First I inspect the pins in the 4 pin Molex, they are loose, just like the first one. Hmmm. Not wanting to wait any longer, I bust out my hot glue gun. Put a dab of glue on the back of the connector where the wires go in. Just enough to hold them in place and give some rigidity to the pins. Sure enough this worked just fine, and the cable now powers my additional hard drive just fine.In the end. Am I a little nervous that somehow this cable is going to short out and fry my hard drive and all it's precious data..? Yes. But is it currently working and serving it's purpose...? Yes. It's been running for two days now, so only time will tell. The cable works and does what I need it to do, it just took a little effort to get it there, so this is why I gave it 3 stars.SO, will I purchase from Crazy-Store again. Probably not. Will I begin doing research on the sellers on Amazon, just as I do with sellers on ebay. Probably.
