Lavazza Espresso Whole Bean Coffee, Medium Roast, 100% Arabica, 2.2 lb Bag

I have tried so many coffee brands over the years but Lavazza Espresso Whole Bean Coffee has really become one of my favorites. The instant I opened the bag, the smell was wonderful. It smelled like rich, fresh coffee, and my kitchen instantly turned into a cozy little café. The smoothness and balance of flavor is what I like about this coffee. Some espresso coffees can be too bitter or strong but this one has a very nice medium roast taste that is rich without being overbearing. It tastes slightly sweet and creamy, so it is good both as regular coffee and in espresso drinks. I run these beans through my espresso machine every morning and they grind beautifully. The crema is thick and a beautiful golden color, which makes my homemade lattes and cappuccinos all the more special. Even my husband who is very particular about coffee said how fresh and flavorful it is. The 2.2-pound bag is also a great value, as it lasts a long time, even in a house full of coffee drinkers. I like that the beans stay fresh when sealed properly and I have not had any oily/stale beans in the bag. I also like that this coffee gives you a nice energy boost and doesn't taste harsh or acidic. It's smooth enough that I can drink more than one cup without it upsetting my stomach. Overall, I think Lavazza Espresso Whole Bean Coffee is a great choice for anyone who loves strong, smooth coffee with a high-end cafe taste at home. I will definitely keep buying this for my daily coffee habit.

Let me start out by saying I am a coffee fiend. I drink it all hours of the night and day and I've tried just about every brand you can think of. I took a chance ordering this and I'm so glad I did! Reading the other reviews helped me so I hope this helps someone else, too. No one is paying me for my opinion, I'm not getting a single thing for writing this except the satisfaction of reporting on a quality product. Not only is it a good price for how much you get, (09/25- $22 for 35.2 oz) but this is some of the smoothest coffee I've ever tasted. The beans are so shiny and just pretty. They're not all dried out and dull and dessicated looking like some coffees... The beans smell so good in the bag and even better once I've ground them. They grind up very quickly and easily too. There's no bitter aftertaste. Just pure, delightful, delicious coffee. I got the 5/10 espresso, and it's perfect for me. it's just strong enough. I like medium-strong roasts, so if you prefer darker or lighter roasts they have plenty of other options. I use both a drip coffee pot and a French press and this works beautifully in both. The crema in the French press is gorgeous. It's so far above other brands- even Seattle's best and eight o clock and Cameron's, which I thought I really liked... They don't hold a candle to this. I can't wait to try the other flavors.

The best coffee in my opinion. Even Princess Cruises serves it on their ships. Delicious, full-flavored, and easy on the stomach. I use the espresso blend and won’t use any other now. Delicious and easy to grind in my coffee grinder for my espresso machine. I would definitely recommend to family and friends or anyone. Good to the last drop!

Lavazza whole espresso beans are amazing for home lattes, with the grinder on my espresso machine it makes fresh amazing cafe like tasting at home that makes making your coffee at home work amazingly. Smooth espresso, amazing price for how much coffee whole beans. My favorite espresso beans!

I was pleasantly surprised by these beans. Smooth, creamy, milk-chocolate-like finish. I don’t have an espresso machine. I did these as a pour-over (1:17.5 ratio) and as an espresso-like brew with my moka pot and Oxo Rapid Brewer. I’d give it a 5 except the size and shape consistency of the beans from the bag reflects maybe not the greatest actual bean quality. But the taste is very good. No burnt roast taste…which is importantvto me.

Honestly, the best coffee one could ask for. The coffee itself has a rich, smooth flavor that is easy on the stomach. I tried several organic coffees, and none of them woke me up at all. I fully expected those to work better with my body, but they never did the job even after a month of drinking them. This wakes me up but not in an unexpected way. It makes me feel like I can hit the day at full speed, and it does not make me crash as some other coffees do. If you are thinking about buying this, you need to do it. It does work. It tastes great, and you will feel like Superman or a woman.

So far this is my favorite "big coffee" whole bean coffee. I generally go local as much as possible, but for my everyday latte, this is IMHO the absolute best bang for the buck. Very rich, great cocoa notes, very balanced but complex, and a lot of dried cherry flavor. I really like this particular blend.

If you have an automatic grinder coffee makes this is the perfect choice. This medium strength roast is not TOO oily. When you use a dark roast most of the time the beans are very oily and will gum up the hopper, grinder and shoot. I have the Cuisinart Grind and Brew and oily beans don't work well but these work perfect. This is a better alternative as the espresso bean variety makes up for not having dark roast beans. I definately would purchase these again or other medium roast Lazazza variety options. The flavor of the brew is perfect, not bitter but smooth. And the pricing was very good for the 2.2 lb bag and lower than stores near me.

Nos gustó mucho el sabor. Lo probamos en una máquina de espresso y en prensa. Sí está bastante fuerte el tostado, pero con un buen método sale increíble, con suficiente acidez y buen cuerpo. Desde que lo mueles, el aroma inunda toda la casa, como un poco a avellana cremosa, dura horas incluso. Del envío, llegó en buen estado. Pero venía en una bolsa de estafeta no muy bien cuidada, siento que se hubiera roto fácilmente si le ponían algo encima.

パリのカフェで飲んだエスプレッソがおいしかったので自宅でも飲んでいます。スタバのエスプレッソ豆がおいしいのですが、250gが1339円（消費税込み）なので1kgだと5000円以上します。コスパを求めてこちらを購入していました。最近値上がりが激しくて、スタバのフレンチローストを頼んでいます。またお値打ちになれば戻りたいですね。
