Q: Is there an option to turn off the chimes completely?

Yes, there is an "off" switch. It can be turned off completely, or just off at night time. There is also a volume control. The chimes are very nice. I sell this clock quite often.

Q: Is it real hammers striking chimes? Or does the chime sound play thru a speaker? Of thru a speaker any chance for someone to upload an audio of sound?

This is battery operated versus mechanical. The chimes are played through a speaker. This is a very popular clock. Unfortunately we don’t have a sampling of the sound. Thanks, At Peace Memorials

Q: What is the diameter of the clock face?

The face is 2 ¼”. Happy to help.

Q: Is there a way to correct a clock that chimes the wrong hour?

When the clock strikes on the hour move the small hour hand to the # that matches the number of strikes the clock stuck (example if it struck 4 times move the hour hand to the 4 position). Then proceed to move the minute hand backwards (counter clockwise) to the correct time. It should correct the chime after a few hours. Happy to help.
