Great for identification, easy to use
My Barred Rock is "rocking" a purple bracelet right now. Great fit and allows me to tell the nice one apart from the mean one, lol.

Yours band colors may vary
These worked great on our chickens where we had multiples of the same variety. We can refer to them as Buffy-orange or Buffy-green, etc.Now I can make a visual note of who the productive hens are or who is broody or who is causing trouble! My only complaint is my package had orange, yellow and green bands NOT red, white and blue as in the picture. The orange and yellow are a little hard to tell apart from a distance.Easy to install once you catch the hen. Mine hang around my feet when I feed treats and if I squat down with them they get used to me there and I can reach out and snatch one. They will struggle but one person can do this. Beware of your rooster if you have one while you do this as mine will come to the aid of the hen in distress!!

The bands themself are good, none have broken or fell off
I wish this had a color choice option. I wanted to mark my hens by age and needed to match the colors i had, the photo were the colors i needed but not what I got.The bands themself are good, none have broken or fell off.

More uses than just Chicken bracelets
I bought these to mark the leg of my one broody Buff Orph. I wanted to make sure I kept her when it was time to get new baby chicks. At a glance I can tell which one she is amongst all of the others. If I had a large flock, it would be great to tell by different dates for culling etc, but I don't. I have just your average backyard flock.I didn't need all of the bands now, but they of course can be stored for future use. What I also like about them was the other uses that I found.I couldn't ever find my house key quickly on the key ring, so I put a bright pink one through the hole on the key. It now stands out on my key chain. That is a bonus, especially when it's pouring rain and late at night. I also put one on my dads key so I can also find it quickly. They were useful also for using as rings on my grandchildrens quite books I made them. I found so many uses for the rings that I'm going to have to buy more just to mark my other hens if I keep this up.

DO NOT BUY!!
You can't select the color variety. I got green, yellow, and orange. The yellow and orange are very similar and hard to tell apart unless you see them next to each other.*****UPDATE******DO NOT BUY THESE!!! WE HAVE HAD THESE ON OUR CHICKENS FOR 7 MONTHS NOW... IT HAS GOTTEN COLD AND THE BANDS HAD SOME CRUSTED DIRT ON THEM. THIS CAUSED THE BANDS TO BECOME HARD AND THE BAND WAS DIGGING INTO THE CHICKEN'S LEG!!!! WE REALIZED IT AFTER ONE OF THE CHICKENS BEGAN LIMPING AND NOT USING THE LEG THE BAND WAS ON. WE HAD TO USE WIRE CUTTERS TO GET IT OFF AND SHE WAS BLEEDING AND HAD A SEVERE ULCERATION ON HER. 😢

They go on easy - but ended up growing into the legs of my hens in just a few months rather than stretching.

The size 11 fit perfect on my Buff Orpington's
The size 11 fit perfect on my Buff Orpington's. Fairly easy to put on but was much easier with my daughter helping.I only wish they came with more colors. My remedy was to put two on of different colors. Now I can tell all my girls apart.

Evidently color shipped is random?
Like these bands for the chickens. Wish that I had received the package of Red White and Blue as shown. I was a little disappointed to receive Light Blue, Purple and Pink bands; the reason for 4 stars. However, they will still work for marking the hens to tell them apart after we name them.
