Exo Terra PT2336 Day/Night LED Fixture, Large

I love this thing and so does my crestie. It’s given him a good sense of day/night; the SECOND I turn the light to blue, he starts moving around. It’s made him MUCH more active which is really exciting. The white light is bright enough so I can find him as he hides, but not too bright that it’s too much for him. The blue is definitely dimmer, but again bright enough for me to observe him at night and he clearly loves it. I saw reviews about the adhesive not working...so I put the adhesive bit on the tank 24 hours before I put the lamp on. It didn’t say anywhere to do this, but I wanted to be safe. It’s worked wonderfully since then and shown no signs of falling off/coming loose. Overall a 10/10.

This light does a great job for my 25 gallon pac man frog tank. The day time feature covers the entire tank while the night time feature doesn’t cover the whole tank (but it’s supposed to be dark so it works well). The touch feature works really well to easily change from day to night. Because it is LED, it does not produce any heat so don’t purchase to heat a tank.

I love this product, it’s great and I bought two for both of my Crested Geckos terrariums. The only issue I had, was the adhesive. It doesn’t stick well. I keep my terrariums pressed up against the wall, which helps the adhesive stay on or stay in place, but it absolutely does not stick. It fell off just a second after sticking it to the glass. Luckily I had strong double sided around, so I placed a layer of the DST on top of the adhesive. This actually worked really well! Until about a month/3 weeks later, the adhesive was falling/ripping off the lamp itself. My double sided tape was still intact and stuck to the glass AND the adhesive, but the adhesive wasn’t stuck to the lamp. I really do like this product, it’s a lovely addition to my terrariums and my room… But it’s a bit frustrating.

We love it. Update after a month... Going a little wacky. Turns to night when it wants too without us switching it.

I recenty bought the Large LED light for my 18x18x24” crested gecko tank and needless to say, I’m impressed! It’s the easiest thing to assemble and attach to the back of the tank. I love how all you have to do is tap it to switch between daytime/moonlight and off. It doesn’t give off heat so it is perfect for crested geckos. You can pick between small and large but they don’t really recommend which size light to buy for your tank. If your tank is 18x18x24” like mine, go with the large. If it’s any smaller than that, go with the small size.

The light itself seems nice but there was no mounting bracket. Now I'm trying to create a way to get it to stay. **Update** Managed to make it stay by duct taping the light to paint stirring sticks, then using extra strong velcro to stick it to the tank (thought that having this removable option would be good for cleaning). Now running into more troubles. I plugged the light in, tapped through day-night-off a few times and it works great. Turned it off and a few hours later its on night mode on its own. Tapped to turn it off and it did nothing. Unplugged it and left it alone for a bit. Plugged in again later and cycling the lights worked, but then will stop until you unplug and replug it in. With the contraption I had to make just to get the thing to attach to the tank its a pain to keep unplugging and replacing to make it work. Like who would want a light that you literally have to plug in every time you use it? I was disappointed but hopeful before, but now just disappointed. Changing to one star and may try to return.

It’s a good product overall but the adhesive is worthless it only worked a few days and the stem that holds the adhesive should be a little longer. I just lay it on top of the habitat as I’ve tried other adhesive that don’t work

Very good light the switch is really nice I lightly brush my hand over it and it works perfectly. one suggestion, it could use a little more space between the bottom of the base and the hole where you insert the light. if the rim of my terrarium was a hair thicker I wouldn't be able to stick the base to the side of the tank.

Elle fonctionne très bien, facile d'utilisation et à installer mais attention, elle ne fait pas lampe UV et n'a pas de fonction automatique. Donc tous les jours vous devez appuyer dessus pour le mettre en mode jour ou nuit.

Tengo un eulepharis y da bastante luz por su bajo consumo. Buen producto para animales nocturnos.

The light works great! Easy to install and the blue light allows me to watch my geckos at night. Very pleased with this product.

El producto llegó en tiempo y bien envuelto. Trae su cable y en la lámpara, da el táctil para adaptar la luz a día y noche. Ilumina muy bien siendo que es bastante ligera. En la iluminación nocturna, solo encienden dos leds en color azul, y es suficiente para mirar como comen los animales crepusculares.
