So.. it works. BUT it was a huge to get it working the way I expected. Turns out you can't issue commands through the app unless it's online and only comes online if it's moving or you've texted a command to it.

Well, setting up the device was straightforward, but the ID on the back of the device will not register. The instructions are garbled, the customer support is non-existent, and forget going online for any useful advice. Waste of time and effort for a third-rate mass Chinese-fabricated product.
