Besides plug in humidity rods this may be the best safe accessory I have bought. Works well, gives me more room and keeps the pistols safe. Important is to get the correct size/thickness for the caliber. Avoid thin wire supposedly good for .22 to infinity. They do not hold heavier guns securely. Buy caliber specific hangers and you will be pleased. All were coated in plastic and I have no fear of damage to the guns.

Look no further you have found your handgun hangers! These things are built like a tank. They hold an assortment of heavy & light weight firearms and will not sag....357, 38, Clock 14, Ruger LC9s etc. They are an inch wide so consider that when ordering. You could put a small wood shim under them to help thicken your shelf or close the hanger together making it more narrow. But remember it will only be more narrow on the end only if you squeeze it together. I have a nice thick gun shelf so they fit nice and tight. I bought a cheap set once and they we not much thicker than a coat hanger, junk! These are very, very heavy, nice! I paid full price and have no affiliation with the company at all.

Good addition to free space in your safe

This product, although extremely simple in design, works.One thing you should know, you might have to bend the bar a little to add sturdiness. The space for the board is probably 1" inch wide. My safe has 1/2" shelves. So, I took a pair of pliers and bent the bars closer together. Essentially, making it pinch the board. Afterward, it works perfectly.

Really nice product. They are very simple but very stout. Almost no flex at all even with heavy pistols. Very good coverage and finish on the covering material. Will be purchasing these again. Fit 357 and above caliber. Will not fit a 32 or smaller. Allows you to hang pistols from below your shelf in the gun cabinet. Allows for storage of your arms without them touching each other or sitting on a surface. I like that it allows them to hang in the air allowing airflow around them and no shelf wear on the arms.

The handgun hanger gave me a great alternative for my pistol storage needs. I wanted to get the pistol out of the night stand drawer but wanted easy access in the bedroom. The hanger provided just that at a great price through Amazon. The construction provided assurance that it wouldn't damage the barrel and would hold the weight of the pistol with the magazine loaded. The hanger sits in my closet hidden through the clothes with easy access if needed for my home defense.

Using on ~3/4" shelves. Bent to a slightly smaller gap and they hold securely on the thinner than 1" shelves.

The .22 variant of these hangers is a bit flimsy with the weight of a quality revolver. It definitely still works but would be better suited for a lighter semi-auto or derringer. I'm very pleased with the larger diameter hangers.
