6ft Length
Used it to secure cane webbing seat on a wicker chair. 15 minute soak and let dry, clamped, for about an hour straightened out. Relatively easy to install. It rolled 90 degrees on me at one corner, but mostly due to my lack of experience. Locked in the seat webbing like it should and is solid so far. No complaints, except, no basic instructions included. Google it.

Size 9 was right on for 1/4” groove
Before I started my caning project I watched a couple U-Tube‘s. One of the videos showed a size chart that if you had a quarter inch groove you needed a #9.5 spline. I panicked because I knew I looked up what size I needed on this listing and it was a 9.0, not a 9.5. Upon delivery, the spine was still in the bag, it look like it was going to be too small/ narrow to fit secure in the empty groove. Once I had the cane on the chair, it ended up fitting perfect and like a glove. This is my first time ever caning and the spine was the easiest part. Fitting the rattan cane was time consuming and tedious. I soaked the spine in water while I was working on the caning. I did not soak the spine with the cane. If I had not soaked this spline, it would’ve cracked and been too hard to put in the bends. There was minimal shrinkage if any. That was probably poor cutting:) You can tell I only had a small piece remaining after going around the chair. For an estimated chair opening of 11”x11”, I used roughly 41.25” of spline. The spline came in a sealed plastic bag and before i opened it I swore it could not possibly be 6 feet but it actually was 6‘1“. It worked out perfect and I’m happy I followed the size guidelines on the seller’s Amazon listing. Since I purchased this spline, in days it’s already gone up in price over a dollar, thank u Mr President. Recommend but I wish they included suggested install instructions for soaking.

It is good quality and worked well, just have to soak it for a couple hours to make it more plyable.
