Expensive but it works well!
More costly than what I would like but it works 100%. As soon as you notice any signs of a cold sore you put it on and within 2 days it’s gone. It stops the progress quick. It expired back in December but I am still using it and it still works.

Good to have on hand
I always keep a small tube on hand as this stuff works well at shorting the duration of a sore, but also stops one from forming as soon as the tingle appears. Perfect purse size. Would definitely recommend.

Works on poison ivy too!
I’ve been using Abreva for many years on cold sores and it’s a great product. This spring I decided to try it on poison ivy. It works! It dries up the rash and it never goes to the weeping stage. There was still some itching but def not like it would have been. I rub it on 2x a day for 5 days.

Less expensive than the grocery store.
I like to order this well ahead of any breakout and save a little bit instead of panic-purchasing at the grocery store for a few dollars more. This came super fast, regardless, and was able to help with a rough cold sore breakout I had just as my last batch of Abreva was running out.

Effective
As with most topical medications, the sooner you begin to use it the better it works. It is a very tiny tube. Thank goodness only a minuscule amount of salve needs to be applied each time. It has always worked well with a blister which recurs in the corner of my mouth.
