Mahlas Turkish coffee
Not enough flavor. Maybe I'm making it wrong. This is my first time making Turkish coffee. I will keep trying. Maybe I can improve.

Throwing this out wasn't enough … I had to empty the compost bin!
Before investing in a coffee mill, I wanted to experience what the ideal Turkish coffee might be like. But this was horrible. There was a chemical smell when I opened the bag. Despite this, I made a batch of coffee … spit it out and dumped it. Then I threw the rest of the coffee in the compost … but I had to take the compost out because that chemical smell permated the kitchen. Simply the worst.

Not for us, bleh
Sorry, sadly just tastes like burned cardboard or plastic. So far, we still prefer kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi Turkish Coffee

Strong coffee, odd flavor.
I don't have a Turkish coffee maker, so I just used my normal pour-over method with this coffee. It didn't want to drain through which I thought was odd- I don't usually have a problem with even the finest grains in my metal filter. Turns out my filter needed a vinegar soak and scrubbing, and a second metal filter that I have worked much better for this coffee. The flavor is weird- I've drank very strong coffees plenty of times, and though this has a solid caffeine kick at normal rations, it has a strange flavor that I didn't care for. It's hard to describe, but I found myself making this coffee weaker than usual, and adding more milk and sugar than normal. It could be that I simply prepared it wrong, I don't know, but I'd rather not go through the trouble of heating this on the stove, or having a separate coffee maker taking up space in my kitchen.I enjoyed the chance to try a new kind of coffee, but I don't think that I will be ordering this one again.Mahlas Gourmet Turkish Coffee - Premium Quality - Traditional Roasted and Ground Coffee - Ground At Natural Stone Mills - Produced From Fresh Harvest Green Coffee Beans (8.8 OZ (250 g))

I enjoyed it
I really don’t drink that much coffee, but i ordered this as I was intrigued to try it.I’m pretty certain it’s not like the traditional Turkish coffees I’ve seen on TV, where they bring you a tiny little cup, of what looks to be a thick brown goop.I just made it in the regular coffeemaker, which yes, yes! I KNOW THAT’S WRONG!!! and i did enjoy the taste. I found it quite smooth, and rounded. Though i do take my coffee with creamer and sugar.I do not have the Turkish kind of coffeemaker, i apologize if that is unhelpful. I can only review in the way i brewed it, and give my results based on that. I liked it, i didn’t find it bitter, and i would get it again, definitely.

Different that the coffee we're used to
This was a new experience for us. Neither of us had ever tried Turkish coffee, so had to do some research. This type of coffee does not go into a coffee maker, rather it’s mixed with cold water then heated on the stove. It will foam; pour the foam into the cup, then continue heating and pour coffee over the foam. Sugar in the desired amount should be added at the start and mixed with the coffee. The taste is different than the coffee we’re used to, and it sort of had to grow on us, but the product appears to be of good quality.
