Continuous Duty Means On All The Time
I had a project installing a 12 volt air compressor in my truck beds toolbox. I looked around a number of forums for recommendations of the components I would need for the job. The main challenge was sending 12 volts to the bed of the truck safely. I purchased a marine circuit breaker and the Cole Hersee 24059 Continuous Duty Solenoid to allow my in-cab dash switches to activate the circuit. With any air compressor a leaking fitting will cause the compressor to kick on until it reaches the maximum tank pressure. I wanted the option to control the circuit so the compressor wasn't building pressure when not in use. This was what this solenoid was made for. I have been happy with the performance to date.

Item is as described, but needs more detailed specs
Good product, adequate for the task (battery combining). Vendor should provide more detailed specs, i.e., stud length. Purchased to replace another device with 1/2" long terminal studs. This device has terminal studs that are barely 3/8" long. Can't attach all the cables that came off the old one. Now I have to figure out an extension for the studs. Otherwise, no complaints.

Solenoid for RV
Used this to replace bad solenoid on my battery charging system. Old White Rogers solenoid would not charge the house batteries when hooked up to shore power. Everything works as it should now. 1996 Fleetwood Bounder 32H.

It worked as it was supposed to
This company has been making this relay for decades, and besides the country of origin, it appears they have kept true to their workmanship.

Parts seem to be missing
The solenoid came as pictured without the nuts and lock washers for the 4 studs. Listed in the “Product Details” it states the 5/16 - 24 Hex Nuts w/ LW and 10 - 32 Hex Nuts w/ LW were included. I had to take the ones off the solenoid I was replacing. I would have returned the item but I needed to get our Motor Coach back on the road. This solenoid was 3 times the costs of others - hope it proves to be worth it. It was a good thing my old solenoid was not metric.

Rv electric relay
Works at it should, fixed the problem with the old one

Exact replacement
Looks identical to the original, got my bucket truck back up and running

Silver metal body
Makes a solid connection, but I expected a black body as shown in picture. Not important, just cosmetic. But be aware that the case is not the ground, you need to add a pigtail to ground to work the coil.
