Compare Fuji GI All standard (all-around) vs Summerweight
I ordered both regular and Summerweight uniform- the winner is standard (all around)- Summerweight is more expensive- Same design, except Summerweight has a logo on the back of the pant- Exactly same size , same fitting- Same weight 4.5 lbs- They have slightly different thread pattern for the top part, the bottom (pant) are EXACTLY THE SAME !, Same Cotton, Same cutting ,Same fitting, Except logo (which is unnecessary)- you will never go wrong with Fuji GI, if it's your first Gi, go with Fuji Standard.

Not the best for the Short and Skinny out of the box! (Must shrink in washer/dryer).
This is a review specifically for people who consider themselves short and skinny. (Size A1)The picture is me wearing it right out of box, which is why it is big.Pros:-Great material for the price you pay.-Pants waist fit perfect (the waist is adjustable so it fits even my small size 27 waist)-Pants length are teeny bit long right out the box, but they become the perfect size after 1 or 2 hot washes (depending on how short you want). I am 5' 4". After 1 hot wash + dry, the pant length fits perfect.Cons:-Shoulders are big on the jacket. Unless you got broad shoulders or are a big/fat/muscular guy, then it's okay. However, I am a very skinny ectomorph (110 pounds). The shoulders are big so the jacket scrunches up and looks weird when you tie your belt around.-The arms are a little long. Us short people have shorter arms. The sleeves come to about anywhere from the crevice between thumb and index finger, to where your 4 fingers, excluding thumb start. After 2 hot washes and 2 hot drys, the arm length did shrink about an inch.-Arms are baggy-Pant draw strings and belt loop are mediocre. Pants often slide off/down because of this.Ultimately, I can't return this since I washed and dried, but if I could reverse time, I'd buy an Elite Sports Gi because it is about the same price as a white Fuji gi, and from what I've read from reviews, the sizing is very good for short people (slimmer fit).In conclusion, this gi is a great first time gi! Just not the best for short skinny people out the box. Remember, I'm very small and skinny, disregard my review if you are normal weight and height.UPDATE: After over 6 hot washes and Hot dries, the fit has improved, so I have added another star. It fits almost perfect now. Still a teeny bit big, but it will only continue to shrink and fit me better and better as time goes on. I have stopped washing hot and switched to cold and tumble low dry.

I ordered an A3 and it fit perfect. I put it in the washing machine in ...
This is my 3rd try at a GI. I am 6'0" 178lbs. I first ordered an A2 because people in my gym were A2 and are my size. But, unfortunately, A2 in this particular brand was too small. As soon as I tried it on, it was very apparent that it was too small by 1.5" or so in the arms and pants, so I boxed it back up and sent it back. I ordered an A3 and it fit perfect. I put it in the washing machine in cold water and tumbled dry in ultra delicate low heat until dry. The A3 became an A2. The pants shrunk and the jacket shrunk by about 1.5" inches. Ordering an A4 now and we will see where that get me. All this is my fault, but hopefully, this saves someone else the frustration.

so I know a good Gi instantly
I haven't rolled w/ this Gi yet, but I can say, it's fits me perfectly! I got A4, I am 5' 10" and 210lbs - 220lbs with a big chest, I wear a 48-50 in suits, everything else is too tight, I can't move. I have been training Japanese Jujitsu since 1990, so I know a good Gi instantly. My other favorite thing about this Gi is it has a great feel, very professionally done, nice weave, pants looks good (will need to shrink these a bit), and my MOST FAVORITE, NO SMELL! If you have ever smelled that nasty Formaldehyde Chemicals, you know what I am talking about. This Gi, smells NATURAL as it SHOULD! I always wondered why people had rash guards and after purchasing a Gi elsewhere and smelling that I knew why, and promptly returned which was not easy task either, unlike Amazon!

Very comfortable!
I'm just shy of being 5'3", weigh 140lbs and have an athletic build. I don't know if posting my measurements will help other people, but just in case it does, here it is, 34-27-38. I'm trying to get back to 125lbs at which time I was 33-25-36, this gi might be too big on me then, but oh well. Some people I asked said I'd be an A0, others said A1, but because with this brand my weight was at the "limit" for A1, I decided to get the A2 and shrink it if need be. I knew the sleeve length on the A2 would be the biggest isssue before I even bought it, and it was lol... I mean, I will try and shrink it, but if it doesn't shrink I will have to roll them, or figure something else out. The length in the pants actually fit, I suppose my legs aren't short for my height?? Who knows. The material is very comfortable compared to the gi I was using prior to purchasing this one, like 10X more comfortable! I have class tonight and will update this review once I roll with it on. I will add a picture so you guys have a visual on how it fits me, and you can base what size to get for yourself off it, if you're similar in size.

Great uniform, fit 6'1 170lb well enough
I've only washed and used it once so far, so this is mostly about fit. I'm 6'1 and 170 lbs, so kinda lanky. It fit me very well, perfectly within competition regulations, right out of the box. I've cold-washed and hung it to dry once and it shrank a bit. Still within regulations if I shrink my long arms in as much as I can, and I think the pants length are also within regs (can't measure but it looks awful close). I do kinda wish the pants were longer, but perfectly good for training and might pass a competition measure.I will add that next gi I get will be for lanky ppl, or a size up and shrink it down till it fits similar to this in volume, but with more length especially in the pants.Used it for one class and liked it. It feels very sturdy. No complaints or issues. I expected a little lighter, but am pleased enough that it's not that light (durability). It was a bit hot (peak of summer now), but I can deal with that.

True opinion.
6'5" male 260lbs. The A6 jacket is a little big where the A5 would fit better, so I will shrink the jacket a little. I wanted the A6 pants for the .5inch longer in length. The openings on the bottom of the legs are more traditional (bigger) then the new trend. I am a Judo guy so this is what I am used to and for a beginner guy for BJJ this is perfect. I come from a Fuji family where my mom has gi's that are 50 years old.
