As other comments say, this brush is definitely not for thick hair. However, I knew that when I purchased the brush so I have no problems with it! I use it mainly for distributing the oil throughout my hair and smoothing out updos and for those two things it works well even with thick hair. The brush is a great quality and it still in great condition bristles and all despite me using it on a daily basis for multiple months. If I had thinner hair then I imagine you would be able to use it for more, but it accomplishes what I need to even with thick hair.

I just got this brush today so this is a very fast review but I just have to say that I love this brush!. I'm 69 with fine and getting thinner hair and if there was even one little snag or pull, I had already made up my mind to return it. I have not had a decent hairbrush in many years...have used picks since the 70's. I don't have curly hair but the picks just made it easier to comb thru my easily knotted up hair. This brush is a game changer! Not one single pull and it just feels good! I have wanted to get back to brushing my hair again to maybe encourage it to be shinier and even grow a little faster and massage my scalp as well. This brush is going to make it a breeze to attempt the hundred brushstrokes a day as it just glides through. The short bristles are boar and the longer are a soft tipped plastic. Its a very reasonably priced brush and came very quickly. The little cleaning brush and the cover were nice little bonuses. I will recommend it!

Personally I really like this product well made sturdy great handle easy to use soft and gentle brush. But my daughter is complaining of a strong bbq smell that won’t go away even after multiple washes. She refused to use it. So I use it for myself.

The best hair brush I have ever owned. Love it so much need to buy one for everyone in my home. Great for tangled hair, promotes better hair growth. Since changing hair routines I have seen significant changes in my hair and is a lot more gental on children's hair ,thin fine,and thick. Even my husband likes it for his beard. Very durable,use as recommend and keep it clean and you won't have any problems. The smell goes away over time,and the bristles only have minimal shedding at first. Excellent product!

This is the best hairbrush I've had so far! It's lightweight and the size is right for my hands and wrist. It may be a tad small in the length of the handle for some but it works great for me. What I had before this felt heavier on the wrist and had a longer handle that I sometimes found a little difficult to maneuver. This is much better. The bristles appear strong and soft. Getting the knots out is a breeze with this. My hair appears to stay tangle free for much longer. And feels soft and looks shiny too. Cleans easy with the little tool included. No more using toothpicks, lol. The carry bag is great to keep it dust free and also, for travel. Its light and goes easily in a handbag. I might look to see if they have an actual travel size one too.

I ordered set w/Brush Pik cleaner brush pik cleaner is missing. too much trouble to return to get correct order. This Brush is a soft-Medium not a Boar very stiff bristle as I need for my Coarse very thick, wavy & frizzy hair. It should be a Boar 🐗 Animal stiff hair to create a bristle brush that penetrates to scalp that wont break our naturally dry hair types and it smoothes our coarse=thick shaft, thick big volume, wavy, curly and frizzy big beautiful hair & it smooths as it brushes our beautiful yet tough to brush hair without damaging. It takes correct bristles. It’s part man-made nylon bristles. I use new brush carefully, 3 stars ⭐️ is all I give for too soft not BOAR animal Bristles . it’s nothing like my original Boar stiff brush that brushes down to scalp, smooths & no breakage. I’m searching for that exact brush still as it’s breaking don’t after 12 tough years. it’s a Soft-Medium bristle strength man made nylon. Boar is designed for our natural thick, wavy, curly, coarse (Large hair shaft), frizzy hair its very important to prevent breakage of our hair types and Boar 🐗 smoothes all these naturally dry hair types, it’s reason I search for correct Boar bristle brush . I received an awful “Boar” bristle brush last time, fraudulent advertising its bristles bent Al the way down as I tried to brush my hair. my hubby liked it for his baby fine hair. It’s softer than current Boar brush I have it’s great quality large round with tough Boar that I’m forced to retire after 7 years. I’ll keep this new brush & order a brush cleaner.

Clean and strong

This is the first hairbrush I've purchased after using the same one for over 10 years. My old one was hard plastic with just the ling plastic prongs. Some of the protective bulbs at the end have fallen off and so it scratches my head everytime I brush my hair, but it does the job. I'm SO glad I got this brush. It feels so good against my scalp. I did notice it frizzled my hair just a bit after using it the first time, but that's because I didnt put pills in my hair like I normally do (just thought I'd I clude that for people who do not do this). The bamboo handle and back feels sturdy and good quality. The little brush to clean off the left over hair works well, but I recomm using it after every use. Dont let it get too hairy otherwise itll be a pain to clean. The brush and mini brush also came in it's own little pouch but I didnt really care for the quality of the pouch. I do apprdciate that extra care in protecting the brush, though!
