Was afraid of shipping but it arrived in a well sealed plastic bag and it worked out great. This stuff will kill anything
Bought this on Prime day for half the cost. Was afraid of shipping but it arrived in a well sealed plastic bag and it worked out great. This stuff will kill anything, so be careful. I live out in the country and I don't have the time or money to do repeat sprayings that don't do squat. Now I might have to hit a stump again or regrow of a tree I did not want, along with big vines, well, those have roots everywhere. But I kill what I can and the assorted vines are taking over the country. Not big on spraying, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I use different Roundups for different purposes. Please mash the helpful button if I helped you any, I try to give a good review because I count on the reviews when making a purchase myself. Also in the future, I update my sprayings in the comment section, so keep that in mind.

If used carefully (body suit, chemical mask, shoe covers and gloves) this is the best Roundup to use
If used carefully (a full-bodysuit, chemical mask, shoe covers and gloves) this is the best Roundup to use. It kills weeds, but also many kinds of bushes too. It kills 15’ high cane weed in Hawaii, it kills scrub brush in AZ. Use it carefully, read the entire label. I’ve seen folks spraying weeds in shorts and flip-flops many, many times. Don’t be stupid, this is powerful stuff. Protect yourself. The disposable plastic full-body white suits from Home Depot made for crawling under your house will protect you fairly well. Chemical gloves are a must, as is a chemical/vapor-type mask. I also use disposable shoe covers and spray very carefully. Check wind direction carefully. Winds can change and swirl. Always spray downwind, and as close to the ground as possible.Roundup only works on leaves. Spraying the ground does nothing. You don’t need to blast it all over, only on healthy leaves. It’s absorbed into the plant in 30 minutes, so rain after that is OK. I’d also buy the inexpensive wetting agent that helps it stick to leaves, and the blue dye, that shows you where you’ve sprayed — so you don’t waste any by spraying an area twice. I’ve been told food coloring works too. The blue fades in a day or so. When used AS DIRECTED, this is excellent weed/brush killer!

Kills all the leaves, "guaranteed"
I want to give it 5 stars because I have killed a LOT of Poison Oak with this stuff. However, it says on the bottle, "Kills the roots, guaranteed!" and it doesn't. Any leaf that I spray is permanently killed. Most small plants are killed by that. A plant of medium size may sprout more leaves after a few weeks and need to be sprayed again. A large plant may have the gusto to sprout new leaves 4 times. All I have to do is respray it and those new leaves die. Eventually the plant gives up and the roots die. But the Roundup Poison Ivy and Tough Brush Killer doesn't kill the roots directly on it's own until they die from lack of leaves. I have been spraying April through July which is regarded as the optimal time. To be clear, this stuff is MAGIC. I can point my wand at any plant I want and all it's leaves die. But they put a "guarantee" on the bottle that just isn't true, so 3 stars.

It’ll kill everything so be careful
I had a 30 foot by 30 foot area in my backyard covered in poison ivy that less toxic methods wasn’t killing. After a severe allergic reaction - I had no choice but to nuke the area. It killed everything. It made my mulberry tree drop all of its fruit, despite being very careful and precise in application. But it got rid of the blooming poison ivy so it did the trick.

Works wonderfully for me
This works exactly as I expected. I followed directions, used it when the leaves were dry and when no rain was expected. I absolutely saturated the leaves. The next day leaves were a little wilted. A week later, the plants were looking very burned. I followed up with a second spraying, making extra sure to get any leaves that looked like I had missed them the first time. It may take two or three passes a week apart to kill everything in one area. Poison ivy is very hard to eradicate. Roots are tough and the waxy coating on the leaves is hard to penetrate. And new shoots do pop up. But if I use this every week, an area can be cleared in less than a month. Nothing will be "once-and-done" with poison ivy. This will get rid of most of it in a week, and then it's a case of cleaning up the stragglers.I approached this realistically and got great results.

It has always worked great in the past but I've always bought it directly ...
I have used this product that is specifically for poison ivy for the past 2 years. It has always worked great in the past but I've always bought it directly from a local store that I know rotates their inventory. I don't know if this is an older shelf product or what, but it did not work at all this time. I have used almost the entire gallon and sprayed directly on the leaves saturating them on tops and bottoms. I can count on one hand how many poison ivy plants are in the process of dying and it was sprayed 4 days ago. At this point, I'm extremely frustrated. The poison ivy is beginning to take over again because this product didn't work. I am going to try one more time but I am going to go and buy some that I know has not been on the Shelf a long time. I am hopeful, as I said earlier, that this is an old batch and was not as effective. If this new batch works that I buy from a nearby store, I will update my review because this is a review for the product, not for Amazon.
