I purchased this after a major surgery in hopes of having a sturdy "sitting up pillow" to help during my recovery. When this arrived, I was shocked at how flimsy it is. It is literally a hunk of fluff that has cardboard in the back / sides to make it appear as if it an sit up for more than a few minutes. If this was about 1/3 the price, I'd keep it; but considering a children't sit up pillow from IKEA can hold up better than this, I'm definitely returning this. I got this after seeing all the glowing reviews, now I realize I've probably been duped by the now-typical "I got this for free for a review" situation. I did not get this for free, I paid full price --and I can assure you, this is definitely not worth even half of that.

This is a waste of money. Very uncomfortable! The company must know it because it is a non-returnable product. This item isn’t worth $20.00 never mind a ridiculous $138.00.This is a scam product and the company should be ashamed of themselves. Read the fine print. Like I said... NON-RETURNABLE.

Horrible disappointment! They advertise that this bed lounge has an adjustable neck and reclines. It does neither. It is no better than the $25 options. The neck rest is attached to a stick that slides into a fabric compartment at the back. There is no pivot joint to adjust the pillow nor anything to hold it up or down. It does not recline and if you lean back the arms go up with it. I would not recommend this product to anyone and will be returning it.

I just want to say this thing is great! I'm not sure what some of the bad reviews are going on about. It's quite comfy and fits me and my girlfriend quite well (though not both at the same time, unfortunately).We decided to buy this while she was recovering from a series of major surgeries. It was difficult for her to get up and move to a chair, so we needed something that would let her sit up in bed to eat and take medicine. Regular pillows and "husband pillows" simply weren't doing the trick. We needed something much more sturdy.What surprised me the most was how light it is. I can easily pick it up and throw it around with one hand, which makes it actually practical for temporary use instead of being some thing that permanently sits in our bed. And it feels sturdy enough that I won't damage it when tossing it on the floor or putting my whole weight against it. The arm rests are the perfect length and height for resting the arms, and are soft-adjustable (they won't stay in place, but will give way to your body shape and the bed). On the sides of the arms are nice pockets that can fit remotes, cell phones, an iPad, bottles of water, a stuffed doll (yes we tried), you name it. The headrest seemed like it would be flimsy, but it actually does its job fairly well, acting like a spring when we lean back. It's also removable, in case you don't like it.My only criticism is that the fabric is not the best quality. It's kind of stiff and reminds me of cheap bedsheets. But that's not a dealbreaker; we barely notice it half the time. The down lumbar pillow they gave us is also not stuffed very full and needs to be fluffed quite frequently, but this could be fixed by getting a replacement pillow or adding some filling to it. All in all it's a solid product and we were pleasantly surprised even with the steep price tag.

Love it - FINALLY I don't need to stack 2 or 3 pillows behind my back so that back of my knees reach the edge of the sofa. My only disappointment is that I could not get the color I wanted. I bought the natural cotton which stands out against my darker sofa and I am afraid I will spill something on it and it will become visually soiled. The reason I bought it is for the support. I also like the fact that the arms are semi-solid though padded. So I can rest my arm on the lounge arm and it doesn't give. I removed the head support as it isn't needed. The pockets on both sides are very convenient. Have to add that my tiny 4 pound dog was upset that he couldn't climb into my lap because the arms are too tall for him. So I had to place a small cushion next to it so he step up and climb on and off at will. Now we're both happy.

Better than I expected. I was used to those big old heavy things my mother used to have. I had shopped around in stores but most seemed too small, filled with batting, and not supportive. This one is lightweight and very firm and comfortable. I ended up ordering a second one.

Very good quality. It's sturdy and the fabric is nice. Now I'm 5'5" and although my head is at the head rest level if I'm fully upright in this I still need to use a additional pillow roll otherwise I'm looking at the ceiling - meaning to use the head rest as pictured the only way is for me to put my head all the way back then I'm looking at the ceiling. Yes, I can pull it forward somewhat but that doesn't make a difference. I had a roll pillow already and placing that behind my head against the headrest works nicely. The arms are a little short also. It's likely normal for these types of things. Being this is my first one ever I'm not sure what the norm is. It would be nice to have longer arms on this so I could rest my full arms on them but it's workable regardless. Why 4 stars after all this? Well, it is a great quality and as for the fit maybe that's just me being picky. I like it and have zero regrets getting it.
