Ringside Boxing Training Heavy Duty Bag Spring (Up to 150 pounds)

I have a 100 lb heavy bag and this works great. No question of it falling. Very sturdy.

I have this holding up my punching bag which is 80 pounds in weight. The spring is advertised as being able to support up to 150 pounds. I’d say it can certainly hold that amount and likely more. At ~140 pounds I decided to hang on my punching bag to see the effect it would have on the spring. I didn’t hang on for very long however, the only thing I noticed was it just started to open up by a couple of millimeters on the top few coils. Using my advanced math skills I can vouch that this spring will support up to 220 lbs if not more ( although I’d probably stick to the advertised max for longevity) When using the punching bag I can hear and feel the spring absorbing the forces placed upon it. This is one heavy duty spring!

I use this on a 100lbs heavy bag, the tension seems just right. I had to shorten the bag chain to account for the 6” length of the spring so my head punches land more in the middle of my bag. I like the simplicity of the hook, it makes hanging the bag by yourself very easy and hasn’t fallen off yet during a workout. The hook clearance is small, it won’t come off my ceiling hardware without the removal of a bolt, however the steel ring on my bag is narrow enough to pass over the hook very easily. I can see it flexing quite a lot, absorbing a lot of shock from the ceiling joist.

This works great for my 100 pound heavy bag. The only drawback is that I have to use additional clips to connect it to the bag and mount. I installed my bag in my basement, so there's not a lot of height to work with. Additional clips force me to lower the bag to where it's situated shorter than an average opponents height. But, this really isn't a big deal. Especially if you have plenty of mounting height to work with. All in all, I still use it and it works great. My wife can barely hear me when she's upstairs and I'm beaiting the crap out of the bag downstairs. It significantly quiets and lightens vibrations on your house.

Im using it for a 90 lb punching bag. The spring stays fully compressed unless the bag bounces, and then it gives a little. It takes all the noise out of the support beam so it doesnt make noise throughout the house.

Good quality, heavy duty and takes a ton of abuse

This product is the only reason that I am able to install a punching bag in my apartment. Really takes the impact and removes the grunt of the vibrations from transferring over to the floor. It is also very quiet. With a 100 lbs. bag, the total spring length is 7.5”. Due to the added length of the spring, I had to make a modification to my Everlast bag stand by extending it by 11” in order to have the bag at a good height to use.

Good product for the money

Did not give the dimentions in description so when it came it was way bigger than I expected or wanted for boxing bag. About 13cm long and 4cm wide with super strong iron. My 20kg bag didn't even pull it away slightly. Will work well for extremely heavy bags or patio swings

Ya tengo como 2 semanas con él y desde que lo puse se notó gran diferencia. Donde tengo el costal hay techo y una puerta de metal, y sonaba muy fuerte con cada golpe. Ahora el resorte absorbe el impacto y dejó de temblar todo. No se que tango dure, pero lo volvería a comprar.

Solid spring, no issues whatsoever for the purpose of holding a heavy bag. Only thing that came up was that the hooks are more narrow than the meister joint I got, so the spring would "jump" back and forth making a loud noise (when the bag was punched/swayed along a 1 specific axis), but it's died down now. No issues otherwise.

This is perfect for my son's heavy boxing bag and cuts down on the shaking a lot when he's punching it. Our whole house used to shake. Excellent quality too. Thanks A++
