8/12/21 Update: I have to give Mobihome more kudos than I originally did. The material on the tent floor feels like tarp and is quite durable. Compared to another brand I bought to fit more people in, I found that the tent floor for that is the pretty much the same lightweight material as the walls. Also, the other brand insists that removing the ropes to assist you with locking the hub is an "upgrade"... It's not. If I were to choose, I'd be more comfortable with Mobihome's accessibility and overall durability. I wish I knew about this earlier. I never considered that tent design, camping, beach, or otherwise, would evolve into a state where setting up and taking down is a quick, no-nonsense process. But I'm glad to know these are around now. This alone has sparked ideas about camping that I would never consider otherwise. So why this beach tent brand in particular? On Amazon, this is the best size and price point for the solo beachgoer that has that "instant pop up" design. This is advertised to fit at least one more person inside, but good luck trying to find space to store your items. The same goes for the larger beach tents that claim to fit a whole family; they technically can, but they can fit little else. I can't wait to bring this to my weekend trips. I will no longer have to worry about covering my face like a turtle from the wind, sand, and sun.

We love this tent shelter! Super easy to set up and break down, and very lightweight. Doesn't take up much room in the car. We recently took it on a weekend trip to the coast and we're able to enjoy the beach for hours while being protected from the sun. The anchors worked well. The bright orange color made it always easy to find from across the beach. Be sure to have the opening of the tent facing downwind to prevent any unnecessary strain on the poles and anchors. We plan to use it for summer outings/music in the park/picnics, too!

I read review after review trying to pick the best sun tent for the beach for my family. After literally weeks I came across this one and loved the pop up and folding features, love the extended porch and it folds up for privacy if needed, three windows. I purchased it and absolutely love it. Couldn't be happier, haven't used it on the beach yet but have set it up and taken down several times to be sure everything continues to work smoothly. If your like me and in between, go with this one!

We are extremely impressed by how easy it is to setup and put away. It took less than a minute. Wow! You just have to pull the string in the middle to pop open and push the center to fold up. The quality of the tent is great and it is light weight. It is actually big enough to fit both of my kids and I. We haven't use it on the beach yet, but the kids love it as their backyard tent. I could see us using it every time we go to the beach. I'm glad we don't have to mess with the beach umbrellas anymore that could be blown away if you don't insert into the sand deep enough. Can't wait for the weather to be hot enough for the beach so we could use it. Love this beach tent!

I have mixed feelings about this product. I bought the XL size and it is pretty spacious for 2 people. I usually put a couple of bags + a small cooler inside the tent and still have a lot of room to relax. The built is ok and way too expensive for the price tag! The rods are made of plastic so be careful when you unfold the whole structure. Setting up is easy and can be done within 2-5 minutes. Breaking it down and folding it neatly is more challenging than the setting up process. The tent itself holds up well with ocean breezes. You can anchor the tent down with provided plastic rods. The fabric is standard, but I am not sure if it actually shields you from harmful UV light as advertised so I recommend putting on sunscreen for personal protection. Please note that the tent doesn't completely cover you from the sun, part of your legs will be out in the sun. In addition, this tent doesn't provide a lot of pockets for storage inside the tent as other competitors do. Overall, I enjoy using it at the beach but it is way too expensive for mediocre quality. There are definitely rooms for improvement and would love to see them improve their products in the future.

I was looking for something to replace a beach umbrella because I hate trying to keep the umbrella in the sand or the wind carries it off somewhere risking it hitting people along the way... but I needed something quick and easy like an umbrella so I don't have to fight the wind off the ocean while putting it up... well.. I FINALLY FOUND ONE!! THIS ONE! This literally took seconds to pop open, fully set up, with a pull of the string! You don't have to slide poles in or anything.. SO EASY! Fits 2 people comfortably (with personal belongings inside), or 3 people without a lot of items inside. Very durable, comes with stakes to pin down to the ground... love the color! Highly recommend!!

We all love a beautiful day at the beach but sometimes need to get out of the sun. I purchased this tent before vacation and we were very impressed from the get-go. The tent went up with ease and was a breeze to take down. I purchased the XL and it was large enough to fit two chairs comfortably with room to spare. I'm sure 4 or 5 small adults could sit in the tent as described. I loved the extra tarp "patio" which provides extra space for leg room without getting all sandy. It seems well built and I expect for it to last several years, but I can't speak to it's longevity at this time.

Definitely the perfect beach tent. Lightweight and extremely easy to set up (literally a minute or less) and breakdown is easy as well. The 2-3 person one is so big; I almost thought they sent me the wrong size. I bought it while it was on sale (huge discount) but for the quality and ease of use, I’d still pay full price for it and recommend it to others.
