Could I use these to fill with frosting and have preschoolers use them?

These are great! I put in siracha sauce; chocolate sauce; and although I haven't tried frosting; the top fits snugly and if the frosting is not too thin/thick; I think it would be perfect for preschoolers. What a clever idea for a good experience for the children. I will try it with my grandson (7 yrs) as he loves to decorate cupcakes and cookies.

Will these work for herbed vinegars ?

It is a bad idea to place an acidic liquid you plan to consume, such as vinegar, into a soft plastic container for long-term storage. Over time, the acid causes molecules of the plastic to leach out into the liquid. Even non-BPA soft plastic leaches and is considered by scientists to be potentially unsafe to consume over time . Vinegar and other acidic liquids for human consumption should be stored in food grade glass. My source of information: A plastics scientist, speaking on an NPR radio show.

Will acrylic paint stay wet and usable in these?

I use these for storing my acrylic pour mixed paint and after more than 6 months they are still perfect. The lids come down over the nozzle so shaking doesn’t create a mess and I have yet to get clogs like another brand I tried. Highly recommend these. They are more expensive but so worth it!

Would they hold up if used for alchol (rubbing) and hydrogen peroxide for a first aid kit?

I looked on my rubbing alcohol, and it was in a #2 plastic. These bottles are #5 plastic. Maybe you can find out if things in #2 plastic are still fine in #5. Hope that helps.
