This saved my sanity!
We have a drawer that was not well supported from the moment we put it together. The nails didn't keep the base in place well, and we store all of our kitchen...uh, boxed things? in it. Foil, storage bags, sandwich bags, etc. We buy the big boxes, so the weight adds up, and the bottom has been sagging for quite some time (doesn't help that my husband would leave the drawer open all the time, so there was even less support 😂).This fixed our problem! It was fairly easy to install, though I did have to have my husband's help for screwing in the back, as the back of our drawer is small and the screw had to be slightly angled. This drawer has been a sore spot for a long time, but it finally works perfectly!

The best thing ever!!!
So far this is excellent. I thought I was going to have to buy a new dresser! Didnt even have to read instructions, went together easy and did the job!

Used these on IKEA's Alex drawers and they worked
I have 3 of the Alex drawer units from IKEA and I use them for papercraft storage. A few of the drawers hold heavy items. The weight was pulling the thin particle board drawer base out of the groove that holds it in place. I used the braces with the end tabs (where the mounting screws go) so that both pointed up. Not one up and one down as seen in the illustration. Nothing is getting in the way of the drawers opening and closing - not the tabs on the end or the wing bolts. Biggest problem was that the drawer base was warped from the weight I kept in the drawer and it was retaining the warp even after I installed the braces and it was just bending the braces to match the curve of the warp. So I took the brace off and removed the front of the drawer, turned the drawer base around and then put everything back together. This is working very well. Only time will tell if the drawer will be able to warp back again. **Be aware that the drawer now has a brown base - it's no longer white. I suppose I could paint it but that's just too much trouble. And you only see it if you open the drawer. Best bet - install one of these braces on each drawer before using it and hopefully it will never warp. You might want to use some kind of Locktite on the bolts/wingnuts that hold the braces together so they don't loosen over time.My one complaint - the set of 4 braces that I received included no instructions. Each set comes with 4 wood screws (pointy ones), 4 regular screws, and 4 small flat nuts. I didn't use the small bolts and nuts but I think you could use them instead of the larger bolts and wing nuts if those things were interfering with the opening/closing of the drawer.

Not for Warped Drawers
I purchased these for my drawers that had really bad warped bottom boards. Clothes were starting to come out the side and I decided to get these to help. They were easy to install and I wish I knew about them sooner. But the strength of the support beam isn’t meant for the state that my boards were at. After installation it did close the gap and stop the clothes from coming out of it but it didn’t flatten the board I had. Because it couldn’t flatten the board, opening and closing the drawers wasn’t smooth as the bolt and nuts keeps hitting the dresser. I even tried the shortest bolt they offer but my drawers are just too warped.PROS: Easy to install, beneficial to use before drawers becomes warped, and multiple both length options.CONS: Lack of support beam strength to flatten warped drawers.
