Excellent calculator for engineering and more
This is a great calculator for engineering students and professionals. You can program on it and handle complex calculations, graphs, and more — it’s a very powerful tool. It also arrived quickly and well-packaged.Solid choice if you need a high-performance calculator for advanced work.

When you need a good graphing calculator for higher math.
I was trying to find a graphing calculator for an online calculus class that I was taking. The class went all the way from precalculus to Triple integrals, gradients, curl, divergence, Green's theorem, and so on. In doing the research online, it seemed that many if not most recommended checking out this Ti calculator. I got it and used it for the class. I was amazed at how easy it was to put in the nested integrals. It handles coordinate changes easily and has really good graphing capability. The bonus has been the online software that comes from Texas Instrument education website. It has a nice emulator or screen capture function. Really good help system and guidebook for functions. Excellent instrument and good replacement for my Ti Voyage 200 that crashed after 20 years.

I love it. I wish the software was free for a lifetime, though.
The calculator itself is fantastic. I love all it's functions. It's easy enough to work with as well. The trackpad is pretty useful and even fun.Playing/programming games on my calculator is of course a classic thing to do. I didn't get to experience that as a kid, so as an adult I'm just happy to get to do so.The only complaint I really have is the learning curve of the UI for the PC program. It's surprisingly difficult. Maybe it's just because I'm neurodivergent, or because it's meant to be taught about in a cvlassroom, but without an instructor to tell me what I'm doing, the difficulties with the UI alone have set me back in learning the unique Lua language the calculator uses for programming. It looks like I won't be programming 'The Gates of Zendocon Lite' anytime soon. With all that being said, I am in love with this calculator, and look forward to having it as my companion throughout years and years of physics classes and programs.Don't mean to be emotional, but it is beautiful.

TI-Nspire CX II CAS cannot be used for SAT programable calculators are not allowed.
For me ther was a steep learning curve, even after 1 year of use I STILL DID NOT FULLY UNDERSTAND ALL OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE CALCULATOR. However I freely admit advanced math is very difficult for me. The CAS unit is Specifically designed for interactive use in a classroom setting, if your instructors are not using them in the class room you do not need the CAS version.

Wouldn't charge out of box but fixed itself
Saw many reviews about the battery not working straight out the box and got concerned. Took it out the box and plugged it into my laptop to charge, after 20 mins stays on 0% and dies after being unplugged. I then take out the plastic battery tag in the back and then plug it into an outlet. After 30 mins it still stay 0% and dies when unplugged. I left it charging for an hour and it still says 0%, but this time when I take it off the charger it stays on. After a few minutes when I looked at it it then said 75%. I've had it for a few days now and its working perfectly fine. Also when I contacted support to get a new battery (before I realized it was fine) they gave me a phone number to call and when I called it the person was so confused and said that Amazon should NOT be giving out their number to help. I hope everyone calculator works even after the heart attack it gave me in the beginning.

Why buy anything else?
This calculator is a jack of all trades and a master of all. Anything you could want in a calculator and very good price for it.The layout is very good and the cursor pad works well, the battery is decent and as long as you charge it every few days you'll always be ready to go. It's just large enough or fit everything comfortably without being a comical, non-portable size, and still has a nice modern look. The screen is high quality and can display anything you'd need. It's processor is a bit lackluster for the price, but the same goes for every calculator. This thing has saved me on many tests where a simpler calculator would leave me stumped. There is DEFINITELY a learning curve, and some features aren't easy to intuit, but youtube and Google will be your best friend here.

Just like a ti-84 plus ce but overhauled.
I have owned this calculator for roughly one month, and it has been an extremely impressive product.First and foremost, this calculator has CAS capability. For those that do not know, CAS (Compute Algebra System) is an addition to graphing calculators that allows them to manipulate equations by variables as symbols rather than as numbers. This means saying goodbye to factoring, basic algebra, and quite a bit more. It can also integrate and derive indefinites, with weird answers coming up only here and there. For the calculator itself, it looks good, I have yet to drain the battery 30% even after one whole month of use. In addition, the mousepad feature combined with a dpad is pretty neat. While novel, it’s pretty useful. Then, turning to the document based side of this calculator. As with most of the NSpire line, you are able to create documents with various functions. For this one, it has compatibility with graphing, images, text, math, Python program, ti program, tables, and even more. All in all, this is a top of the line device, and truly a godsend for any and all engineering students in college. My one and only caveat, which doesn’t particularly apply to me, but rather to those converting from a Casio, I’d that this calculator isn’t very easy to learn to use to its true potential.
