D/c 1:12 Scale Model Motorbike One Supplied

It's a great static display item. Looks great up close or far away. Wish it was larger and die-cast metal but you can't beat the price.I bought this as a gift for my Italian friend who owns an authentic Italian restaurant and he displays it next to the Ferrari F1 model I gave him. Looks great together!

My son has been obsessed with motorcycles. After breaking two of another brand, we decided to try this one out. Seems to be pretty sturdy for the price aside from a side mirror that broke the first day we got it. He’s happy with it and often has to go to sleep with it too!

I recently purchased a 2011 Ducati 1198 Superbike. Needless to say, it's an amazing machine capable of astonishing speed and torque. Plus, it's probably the most gorgeous bike on the market, putting all others (CBR, R1, GSXR, Ninja, RC8, S1000) to shame. To celebrate my purchase, I decided to get a model/toy replica for the office. When it arrived I noticed that the toy wasn't exactly the sturdiest.It's 100% diecast plastic with some very small parts. I was a little worried it would break as I was taking it out of the package. It's held into place with several wire twisties, one of which was wrapped around the steering damper. That damper is a very small piece of plastic that could easily snap off. After some careful negotiating, I was able to get the twisty off with no damage done. It's probably not meant for children to play with because it's so fragile, especially kids 3 and under.As far as I can tell, it's nearly an exact replica of the original bike (lots of cool little details). The only thing it doesn't have is the passenger foot pegs. Regardless, it's easy on the eyes. The tires are rubber and spin. The handlebars turn a little. There is also a kick stand that supports the bike well. The rear axle is very loose, so much so that I was afraid the wheel would come off. Not to worry. I don't plan on actually playing with this thing. It's going to sit on my shelf in the office. As I gaze upon the bike, I'll be reminded of leaning into curves and then taking off on those straightaways.

Just 1 Word For This Scaled Bike Model : Fantastic !!!I have no idea whatsoever regarding how this Toy appeals to kids, because i am 25 and i wanted this bike as a collectible item.I simply love it...Looks menacing when kept over my computer setup....Build Quality is Good, Looks Solid and paint quality is durable....!!If u R a Bike Lover....this will satisfy your need of a collectible !!!5 Stars !!

I bought this for my son's 3rd birthday. It arrived broken. Before I even opened the box, I could see a small piece that goes on the "tank" part was broken off and floating around the manufacturer's packaging box. I received it less than a week before his birthday, so I didn't bother sending it back for an exchange. Luckily, my son didn't really notice or care. A couple of days later, the side mirrors broke off.I'll put it this way, it's an $11 toy motorcycle. If you're looking for something to last a long time or hold up against a kid playing with it, this probably is not the toy for you. If you want a cheap toy that your kid can play with for a little while (and you don't worry about your kid accidentally eating small part or sticking them places they shouldn't), get it. My son has enjoyed playing with this despite it's major fragile/cheap manufacturing flaws.

Well first of the description of the item says is a dyecast....AND ITS NOT DYECAST....when i first opened the box it was all plastic only the tiny forks of the bike were dyecast....other than that it was cheaply made and it looked like a one dollar toy(if you know what i mean)....Do not buy!!! when i got the bike out, the tire came off and the pieces started falling off....BAD BAD CHEAPLY MADE! DO NOT BUY!!!cant believe Ducati actually licensed this crap. but then again Ducati is not the same as before now its all money hungry investors looking for only profitability and not quality any more.

I bought this as a silly gift for my boyfriend who's a nut for motorcycles! He has a Ducati, but he doesn't know how to ride it and has already fallen twice so I don't let him ride it! and NOW, he can have his Ducati motorcycle and I can have peace of mind! :)
