Worked like a charm but instructions for my dishwasher aren't that great...5 stars anyway
OK. Let's get the basic information out of the way that often lacks in reviews. My dishwasher is a 2012 Kenmore Elite, model 665.1392. The literature that came with the machine says "665.1392*, 665.1394*". My diverter motor has the part number W10056349. The instructions say to go to a youtube page and watch a video. The video tells you to take out all the sprayer pieces from inside the machine. You don't need to do that with mine, which I find out later. Maybe on some machines you have to do all that, but not mine. All I had to do was turn off the power, turn the machine on its side, unplug two plugs on the diverter motor(they have clips on them), unscrew the two screws holding the diverter motor in place, unclip and take off the diverter motor. The grommet seal is NOT on the diverter motor for mine. It was in the dishwasher. I used a small pick to gently pull it out. I cleaned up the space, added oatey silicone grease to the grommet(around the outside), cleaned up the diverter motor, and put the grommet in the dishwasher. I used a socket that was just a but smaller in diameter than the seal to make sure the seal was good and pushed into that space...but not a lot of pressure. I put the diverter motor back in and attached the two plugs. Turned the power back on after putting the dishwasher back into its space. I ran 2 loads of dishes through the cycles. ZERO leaks. Wow! Incredible fix. So easy. I saved more than $150 on the service call...if they had just changed only the seal. Very pleased with the fix so far. I'm hoping it lasts a number of years. FYI. I installed the seal just like the vendor says, too. SPRING SIDE away from you. That is...the spring side should go toward the dishwasher. Some people did it the other way.

These seals were accessed from under the dishwasher.
Worked perfectly in my Kenmore Elite dishwasher model 66513929k010. I had to access from under my dishwasher. Dropped the diverted motor and removed old seal. Lubed with food grade silicone.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! It fits and works!
It was so difficult finding a replacement for this gasket/grommet/seal. I discovered you can't get an oem seal by itself anymore. You have to replace the ENTIRE sump just to get a new seal. That is ridiculous! Additionally, when searching for aftermarket seals, almost all that comes up is the seal that installs above the sump. I feel fortunate to have come across this listing because it fits and it works! It saved me a ton of money and labor. It's a pretty easy install too. Thank you for making this product available.

Perfect fit for Kenmore Elite circa 2006
Grommet Guru was very helpful. My Kenmore Elite model 665.13153K700 typically does not offer this diverter seal separately from the sump pump housing (W10168822) which runs $90 or so from other online appliance parts stores. It's a perfect fit for diverter motor (W10155344), but you don't get a new seal when you buy the diverter which is a bit strange. Installation is pretty straight forward, remove diverter from the bottom of the dishwasher (2 torx screws) replace old seal with new, lube seal with dish soap and press in the sump pump housing evenly using a socket of same diameter. It's a good time to clean diverter out of all the gunk if it's been leaking. Reinstall diverter, water and electrical line and you're good to go. Oh yea, good time for deep clean as well, take inside tub, sprayer, filter apart and clean, clean, clean. It's amazing how much skunge builds up in these things, kinda gross to think you eat from the plates that come out of these. But regular cleaning is really needed. The seal just wore out after daily use for 13 years. With the new seal, no more leaks. Saved me $$$ hopefully it will last until we do another kitchen appliance update.

Fit great! Stopped the leak!
Replacement sump with seal $92 or $15 seal. Glad I picked the seal! This fit perfectly in the sump for a Kenmore Elite 665-13183K802. The hardest part about the job was removing the old seal. It was glued in with some silicone sealant, and had to be removed in bits. If you have to do this, use a small (eyeglass or jeweler's screwdriver) to pick out the rubber. You will also run into a circular spring that sits in a channel of the seal, and you can toss that away since the new seal has one already. Then you run into a flat metal washer near the base of the seal. Pry that out, and then the cavity for the new seal is clear. When you install the new seal, make sure the groove with the spring in it is facing away from the water in the dishwasher. If there is any leakage, you don't want the water staying in that groove and rusting the spring. You will also need a Torx 15 bit or screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the diverter motor in place below the sump.

Great product and even better support when asking questions
Great product and even better support when asking questions. I received a response on 2 questions I had on replacing the seals under my dishwasher. I received a response each time. A company that responds this quickly and provides a real help to the customer, deserves 10 stars. I highly recommend this company !!

Part does not fit as described
Part does not fit diverter motor W10476222 as described. Shaft opening in washer much larger than shaft on motor. Sent message to Grommet Guru and waiting to hear back.

Fixed my leak!
This was the part that multiple sites said "wasn't available" separate from the $150 sump. So glad I found this, and hope to save others from an expensive repair. This grommet worked with my diverter motor (Part AP4324941) and mounted on the underside of the sump (Part W10168822). The install was very easy - just unplug the dishwasher, slide it out, tip it over gently, and then remove the 2 screws and open the 2 clips on the diverter motor to pull it away from the underside of the sump. The old grommet you see in the hole it went it can be pried out easily. Then lube the new grommet up with silicone grease recommended, and press it into place. Mine went in with the gapped side of the grommet facing up toward the sump (solid side toward the diverter motor). Put the diverter motor back, and that's it!
