Laguiole by FlyingColors Cheese Knife Butter Spreaders Knife Set. Stainless Steel, Black Color Handle, 6 Pieces

Wow. Disappointed. The plastic handles on these knives feels cheap and look cheap in person. I tried to slice a pat of butter off of firm butter stick. Knives struggle with this basic task. I used a steak knife to finish the job. I then attempted to use one of these knives to spread the pat of butter, after warming it in the microwave, on a english muffin only to see the butter stick to the side of the knife without effectively spreading. Wow. Did I get defective set? Maybe. Can’t recommend these knifes at all based on my experience, especially for the higher price when compared to similar on Amazon.

The spreaders arrived promptly, were well packed and in perfect condition.

This is a well made and lovely knife set, that I had really purchased to use as cheese spreaders. What I didn't realize is that one side of the blade is smooth, while the other is razor sharp, and I mean razor sharp! I removed them from the beautiful box they arrived in and proceeded to hand wash them. While doing so I sliced my finger terribly on the blade, as I had not previously realized it had a sharp side. They are nice but could prove very dangerous.

I have a set of these I bought for myself and we really liked them. Our grandson came to visit and did quite a bit of work for us, so I bought these as a little thank you gift. He liked mine, so bought him a set.

I received the Flying Colors Laguiole Butter Spreaders with the multicolor handles last week. They are exactly what I was looking for. They are excellent quality and just the perfect size. I'm using them mostly for brie and cream cheese. I love the colored handles. My major disappointment is that when I tried to buy another set two days after receiving them (12 spreaders would be nice) they're no long being sold...only the black or brown handles remain. I don't want a mismatched set.

The knife set arrived right before Christmas Eve. We put the 6 knives to use immediately with our holiday appetizers. All of our guests enjoyed using them. The colors added to the festive nature of variety of spreads. They are a significant upgrade to the plastic knives that we see in most of the households in our family so I am thinking of getting more for upcoming birthday gifts.

Very cute. For everyday use or for a colorful gift to someone who loves colors / or loves to take food photos . It’s not original Laguiole. But neither are the Knives sold at Williams Sonoma or Crate and Barrel. They too are legal copies of Laguiole Village knives.

Not only did I love these butter knives, but I ordered two more sets as gifts. The colors are so much fun and there so cute to use and handle. I use them every day for everything. You can butter toast, creme cheese on bagles, jam, cheese spread on crackers, make a sandwich and cut it in half. There great. I love them.

Very small, ideal for children or those with very petite hands but nicely made and obvious quality.

So pretty ... they are small but perfect lily formed! Very lovely for a cheese and biscuits session!!

Just perfect little, butter knives. Finish off the dining table.

They are really nice, except there was one missing out of the boxes,but for the money I let it slide this time, and because the other box had them all.Fantastic.
