Can this product be used to kill grass in monkey grass without killing monkey grass?

Depends on what you are refering to as monky grass. This product is safe to use over the top of Liriope without injury but is not safe to use on Ophiopogon japonicus. Ophiopogon will be injured.

Yes it is very good at killing grasses but not for any kind of weed
