Celley 18 Pairs Smooth Bamboo Knitting Needles with Pouch (9 3/4 Inches Length, Sizes US 0 to US 15)

Knitting is my new hobby! When I started exploring this hobby, I tried out the aluminum knitting needles, but found that the aluminum knitting needles were harder to use. So, I explored more and found the bamboo knitting needles and found these knitting needles were the best. They handle well, grip the yarn better! Overall great product. I would recommend this product hands down!

I gave it as a gift for someone who knits really loosely, and they have noticed that it helps with that, so if you have that problem, you should buy these!

These are great if you're just trying to do a few small projects or want to teach a group of people how to knit. The thicker ones are reasonably sturdy and the thinner ones bend after a bunch of use but are still usable. The price is unbeatable and the carrying bag is cute. The only major downside is that my needles came with some glue/resin still stuck to them in places and had a few splinters, so I had to pet/stroke each needle slowly, individually to test for rough patches and then sand them before using them with yarn. If you're willing to do that or just working on busywork projects and nothing fancy, this will do.

I had one unusable needle because of a splinter no amount of filing could remedy.

I ordered these knitting needles and am VERY happy with them. I even received about 3 extra pairs of different sizes than expected (not US sizes). I like that, just in case a pattern calls for it I'll be ready. The needles are about 10" long. Not only did they come in a nice little bag but each pair came individually wrapped so they are all very smooth, no nicks at all. AND a little card was included listing the corresponding US sizes which was helpful because they come in mm sizes. So I took someone's tip here in the reviews and wrote the US size in permanent marker. I'm currently knitting a lace project with a pair of the needles without any problems. I believe them to be a great buy and if this company gets any 14" long needles I will buy them as well.

I am so happy that I purchased these. I am a beginner's beginner and I am trying to teach myself how to knit. I started with the 10 us Aluminum, slip an slide all over the place. With these bamboo needles, by my third small project, I used the size 8 needles and my project came out pretty good!! Also, I actually received the bag pictured. The bag is thick enough and tall enough to hold the needles comfortably. I also took another reviewer's advice and wrote the size on the ends using a permanent marker.

I'm a self taught knitter and these are the first needles I bought. I was given a pair of metal ones but I definitely prefer wood. They are the perfect length, easy to hold, yarn doesn't slide aroud on them, and are light weight. They are absolutely perfect, I love that it came with a metric system card to help with sizing and a tape measure. They all fit perfectly inside the bag, so I don't have to worry about losing anything. I would recommend these to beginners.

This arrived on time, in a great package, and exactly as described. The bamboo is nice and smooth, but going to be great for beginners like me. I have some long metal needles that are so slippery and making it difficult for me to manage the yarn, tail, and both needles. These are a bit shorter which will work for me. I love the bag it came in and everything fits well. It's a great buy if you want a lot of needles. I'm so happy with this purchase!
