I've tried both Gillette Mach3 Turbo and Schick Quatro
They all have their pros and cons, but when it comes to performance per dollar, the Pace 3 wins hands down. Just FYI, I shave naked. No, not like that! I just use hot water, no lather or gel. Let's do a run-down.Gillette Mach3:Pros: Slimmest profile of the 3. I think it has the widest blade spacing of the 3, so it rinses clean easier without blocking. Lightest weight, with excellent grip on the handle. Very slim profile, best of the three. Good quality shave, especially when new.Cons: The lubrication strip has a 'feature' that turns it from blue to white when the blade is due to be replaced. I found that I could get quite a few good shaves after it went white, so it really wasn't that helpful. The blade release button has also broken off when I accidentally dropped the razor. Blades were still able to be popped on and off without it though. Expensive to replace blades!Schick Quatro:Pros: Outstanding smooth shave - at least at first. Nice solid feel to handle, with good grip. Good lubrication strip - while it lasts.Cons: The outstanding smooth shave doesn't last long, as the blades get clogged very quickly. Rinsing won't clear. WAY too soon, the lubrication strip actually started peeling away, hanging in tatters. Pretty soon there's just the residue from the glue left there. Fail. Very expensive to replace blades.Pace 3:Pros: Good shave, at least as good as the Mach3, if not better. Nice solid feel to the handle, with good grip. Blades last the longest of the three - I've been going about a month between blade changes. Least expensive by far of the shaving solutions I've tried. As a bonus, a little suction-cup razor holder is included for the shower. Lubrication strip is still there when I switch blades.Cons: I wish the profile was a little slimmer. Clogs a little more than the Mach3, not nearly as much as the Quatro. That's my take. Hope you found it helpful.

Outstanding quality and value
I had been using Dollar Shave Club razors a few years ago and at the time Dorco was making their blades. I don't know if they still do.When I finally ran out of blades I decided to just order these from Amazon. The razor itself was very nice, and the blades are exactly what I'm used to, in terms of quality.I can use a blade for quite a while before needing to replace it. They never nick or cut me, and a pack lasts me for quite a while due to the sharpness. Best razor blades I've ever used, and at a great price.

Not as sharp as my Mach 3s, but the price makes me not care
I spent 15 years using Mach 3 razors, and initially the quality was great. I'd get a solid 6-8 shaves per blade, the cut was really close, and my skin was in great shape. The quality of the Mach 3 blades took a major slide in the last few years; 4 shaves and tearing my skin up at $2.50 a blade is ridiculous. So, I needed an alternative, and after hearing some success stories from friends who are using Dollar Shave Club (Dorco products) I figured I'd give it a go.I was skeptical of the quality at first because of the price point. So often you get what you pay for, and the three blade refills in this package are basically a dollar a blade if you figure the handle is probably about $5 (I got my Mach 3 handles for $5 each so it's a guess). I was also a little skeptical because the handle attaches directly behind the blade cartridge as opposed to below it, which makes for a different angle of shaving as well as more frequent cleaning.I comfortably got 6 very good shaves using Barrister & Mann soap (great stuff) with the first Pace 3 cartridge before swapping it out. The handle has a good weight to it, and is comfortable to hold. I do need to rinse the blade a little more often (not really a problem), and I am still getting used to holding the razor at a much sharper angle (relative to the floor) than I used to use with the Mach 3. There's adjustment with any new piece of hardware of course, and while these do not shave as close as the Mach 3s tend to, I am very pleased with the Pace 3 razors. I am also quite confident that as I use the thing more, the better my shave will be; it is difficult to compare a half dozen or so shaves with a decade and a half of use.Simple economics help: I can get 20 Mach 3 razors for about $50 on Amazon. I have purchased two packages from Dorco like this (handle for travel = I wanted one), and that equates to two handles and 20 blades for a little less than $30. I could get 24 refills for about $24 direct from Dorco. What I am getting at is I can get twice as many refills from Dorco for the same price as I can with my old Mach 3s.I don't know if I am a customer for life yet, but the price and quality of Dorco are making it very difficult to go back to Gillette.

Just as good as the best a man can get and the other guys too!
The Dorco Pace 3 delivers on both performance and value. I’ve found that the three-blade system offers a smooth, comfortable shave that rivals many of the more expensive brands with larger marketing budgets. The blades glide effortlessly across the skin, minimizing irritation and leaving a clean finish. What stands out most is the durability—these blades last a long time without losing their sharpness, which is a pleasant surprise for a more budget-friendly option. Despite the lower price point, the overall quality feels comparable to the high-end alternatives, which makes the Dorco Pace 3 a great find for anyone looking to save some money without compromising on their grooming experience.Overall, the Dorco Pace 3 is a fantastic value for the price, combining smoothness, durability, and reliability. Highly recommended for those looking to get the most bang for their buck!
