Good overall value. It did over crimp some 8.5mm plug wires I assembled and we'll have to see how it turns out. Don't have much control over that when crimping 8, 8.5 or 8.8mm wires is my only complaint.

These work well, and appear to be of acceptable quality. It also appears they use similar dies/jaws as the MSD crimpers, and accept the MSD dies/jaws. (tested successfully)The handles are a little longer on these compared to the MSD handles, which makes no difference to me in operation. Any additional leverage is not needed.The ratcheting action on these are not quite as good as the MSD ones, but appear to make no difference in operation.I strongly recommend these as a budget option over the MSD crimpers..

This tool is effective and of good quality

work a lot with old cars and they use the 7 mm size wire. These work well for those wire making a very nice "B" style crimp. That holds true for the 8 mm wires also.It also has a ratchet release so you can recover from am oops!I like the stripper as it works well on Hipalon jacketed wires.Don't often give 5 stars but these are great!

I bought this mostly because a question was answer about the tool stated "Tool works well on wires 7mm to 8.5mm"I work on older cars and always use 7mm wires. The tool does not strip 7mm well just the outside silicone jacket I had to finish it with a razor. The crimp was only about 85% done again I had to finish it with pliers. That aside from that the tool seems well made, it just does not work on 7mm.

Worked great for my new set of spark plug wires.

The product was so-so, it didn't meet my expectations. I needed it to crimp a spark plug wire terminal down to 7mm and it couldn't. I have to find something better!
