We have several of these in various sizes, and we just ordered more to replace the remaining mats of other types (4 cats, 5 litter boxes). We love these - they're much more effective than any other litter mats we've ever tried. They do an excellent job of getting the litter off the paws and collecting it, and they're deep enough that you don't have to immediately clear them - they work for weeks. When you do feel the need, it's easy to vacuum them (I use a small shop vac), or you can just pick them up and hold them vertically, letting all the litter slide out through the one open end. They're also soft and squishy, so they're comfortable to step on, for either us or the cats. (And tbh, I sometimes step on one to get stray litter bits off my socks.) They seem to be quite durable, as well - we've been using a couple of them for 4 years and they show no signs of wear, unlike some flat mesh-topped ones that cracked and split after a while. The material is sufficiently non-skid that we can tuck one end under the litter box, and that keeps it firmly in place. (Otherwise it does tend to skate away.) Note that they arrive folded once or twice (at least for the larger sizes), but that flattens right out after a day or two, so don't be alarmed.

This litter mat does exactly what I hoped it would do. It catches a surprising amount of litter before it gets tracked throughout the house. The double-layer design works well, allowing loose litter to fall through the top layer and collect underneath instead of ending up all over the floor. Although, I wish I would not have ordered the smallest size. One size up would have been even better. But, that doesn't take away from the function of mat. The mat is soft enough for cats to walk on comfortably, and my cats had no problem using it right away. I also like that it's waterproof, which provides some extra protection for the floor around the litter box area. Cleaning is simple. When the mat fills with litter, I just lift it, empty the trapped litter, and put it back in place. It has definitely reduced the amount of sweeping and vacuuming I need to do around the litter box. The gray color blends in nicely, and the material feels durable enough for everyday use. If you're tired of finding litter tracked across your floors, this mat is an affordable and effective solution.

This cat litter mat works really well overall. It arrived folded, so it took a little while for it to flatten out completely, but once it did, I was very happy with it. The honeycomb design does a great job of trapping litter that gets tracked out of the litter box. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to collect the litter and dump it back into the trash, which helps keep the area much cleaner. Overall, it's sturdy, effective, and makes litter cleanup much easier. I would recommend it to other cat owners.

OK, so, for whatever reason, the makers of this mat decided it was best sent folded in half twice lengthwise and squeezed into a box. They are clearly aware that this messes with the mat, as they include a note on top that gives 2 tips on how to get the folds out. Well, I'd like to tell them the easiest way to get folds out, is to send the mat in a large envelope/packet type thing. Especially given the material of the honeycomb pattern, it is tough to get it flat, but not impossible. But, be aware that if you'd planned on using this immediately, you likely will not be able. Tip one is to put heavy things on it. OK, I did that. 2 30-lb (each) boxes so entire mat length/width was covered. Did for 2 days. Was a bit improved but definitely not flat. On day 3, I did their other tip...using a hairdryer to heat it. That alone did a bit, but not a ton. So, I ended up blasting it with the hot hairdryer and then putting the boxes on it immediately. Left it about 18hrs, that mostly did it. Several weeks later, it does lay flat. Despite that being way more than I'd thought I'd have to do for a cat litter mat, I do like it well enough. It does catch litter very well and holds it in. I still have the occasional stray bit of litter, but, in fairness to the mat (and despite my placing the litter box & mat in a spot where my kitty must step foot on it before anything else), my cat will sometimes just bolt outta her Litterbox, I honestly think she takes flight, haha. But, it does collect litter well and most of the time she seems fine walking on it. The part that is a bit frustrating is trying to clean the litter from it. The first time, I picked it up, trying to keep it level, and only turned it to dump it once over a wide garbage bag... But litter just kinda flew in all directions from that movement. I found it a bit tricky to keep it flat and pull the honeycomb layer apart from the bottom layer without starting that flying litter. It made a mess all over the place. The 2nd time I did it, I got a brand new garbage bag so I could stick the whole mat in it and only tilt it once it was fully covered. Next time, I'll probably just vacuum, though I'm not sure if that'll get it all. So the whole "just pour it back into your litterbox" does not work, at least for me. So, yes, it works, but not without some issues.

This litter mat does a great job of catching stray kitty litter and keeping it from ending up all over the floor. The double-layer honeycomb design traps litter from paws, and the waterproof material makes it easy to clean. The large size gives good coverage around the litter box, making the whole cat area much cleaner. Definitely a 5-star purchase.

Put this in front of my cat litter box. I was not sure how it would work, but it is actually fabulous. Keeps all the litter clumps from getting all over the house.

Strong chemical smell coming from thick foam. I left it outside for about 10 days to clear the smell and so far it has been working well. No more litter crumbs.

Opens on 3 sides with velcro making it easier to clean then the ones sewn closed on 3 sides. Also my two arrived not folded and I could use them right away, unlike the other similar product that I had to put heavy weights on to get the folds and creases out.
