The pots look fine. I might have ordered the wrong size, but thinking it through, they could very well be just right. If not, I’ll just order a larger size, so no biggie and my bad if I have to, lol. The only drawback I have has nothing whatsoever to do with the product. And that is who ever delivered the box it came in (along with a couple other items) did not comply with my instructions to leave it at the back/side door and not the front door.

It is a nice product to get your bonsai plants going with lots of room. There is no mesh, rather just a few holes on the bottom cut into the plastic. My problem was when I received the product, a couple of the trays were snapped. The wrapping was too tight holding the trays and pots together, that it easily broke during packing. Id just say don't wrap them as tight or find an alternate way of wrapping for shipping. Doesn't really affect the use of these, so not much of an issue for me. Great otherwise

I’m a beginner bonsai enthusiast so of course I keep starting new trees. I can’t afford to get a new ceramic pot every time, and these are great starter pots. I’m not worried about breaking them, and they are perfect for my many seedlings! The drainage holes at the bottom have built in mesh to retain soil, and the humidity trays catch the drips. The pots have the classic shape and you can’t really tell they’re plastic unless you try. I’ll probably keep buying more sets until I run out of space

This is a great set of bonsai pots and humidity trays for the price. I bought this because I had a plan to turn a misshapen pine tree I have in a big planter into a bonsai. I chickened out but have found many uses for these pots. They are great for holding smaller pots of rooted succulent cuttings while they establish new roots. The drainage holes in the bonsai pot allows extra runoff to quickly drain away so the pots don't sit in the excess water allowing root rot to form. I used one of the larger pots for rooting cuttings from a bonsai portulacria plant that was already in a bonsai pot and needed trimming. I can't say I'm a good bonsai trimmer but I got lots of healthy cuttings and they are doing well in the bonsai planter. I also have a couple of store bought bonsai trees and one did not come with its own humidity tray so I used a tray from this set. The pots in this set fit perfectly in the trays and the trays have a raised ridge to hold the pot in just the right place.

These are great little training pots. But they shorted me two of three trays. Very disappointing!

Just starting out learning bonsai & needed something that looked good but thrifty, price wise. These are not flimsy disposable pots. They actually look like un-glaced ceramic bonsai pots. Very satisfied.
