The best(Value for Money) Reagent Bottle for my Shop
I was tired of using squeeze bottles from Walmart and Hobby Lobby for my common solvents like rubbing alcohol, Kerosene and light machine oil in my shop that kept leaking or even popping lid causing mess. I was looking for more robust dispensers that are resistant to solvents and yet are tight to hold these fluids from leaking. I knew I could use "Reagent"grade squeeze bottles that are common in laboratory use but they are usually expensive. I found these to be just the right price point for the quality and utility in the shop or for household use. They are reagent grade made from LDPE (same as your Ketchup or syrup) with a molded spout on the lid. The lid and the body have good deep threads and lock tightly to prevent leaks. There is a long "draw" tube that allows the liquid to be dispensed even when it is held upright and almost to the bottom. Has nice white label strip to mark and label your item including the OSHA-HMIS (Hazardous Material Identification System) labeling.Just a tip to prevent the liquids that have high vapor pressure (low boiling) from coming out of the spout due to expansion in hot weather, just make a pin-hole in the lid using a hot sewing needle or a thin nail tip (make sure there is no flammable liquids inside) before you fill the bottle. This will allow natural venting without impeding the dispensing. Make sure the hole is very tiny and at a convenient location where you can close it with your finger when squeeze. You can also adjust the amount of flow through the nozzle by expanding the orifice at the tip using the hot nail technique. Do not make a large hole as this will allow too much liquid to gush out.Overall this is the best solvent holding and dispensing bottles outside high priced bottles from Fisher and other scientific supply houses.

Perfect for My Need
What you think of this product may depend on how you use it. I purchased this to have a small water bottle next to my soldering iron to wet the sponge whenever I use it. The sponge dries out between uses and taking it to the sink every-time was a pain. The plastic is thick and feels sturdy. I like the overall quality. I also like that I could trim the end of the tube to control the water flow when squeezed. I was able to dial that in perfectly.

They work well, but...
These bottles are great. I use them to water my plants. I just snipped off the tip of a few of them to get better flow. The only real issue I have with these is the markings that come on this are a joke. They come off simply by holding the container in my hand. I always have flakes of the printing on my hands after use.

Good price
May have to heat tip to bend it up a little and prevent leaks, otherwise, baller

Wastes chemicals like no other
I love the concept of this bottle, but after one use, it just drips, and drips, and drips, and drips (you get the idea.) It wastes so much that it is not cost effective to justify using this over a factory can. The only way to stop the drip is to remove the top, and evacuate the straw (which wastes about an ounce of liquid each time.)I'm really disappointed. I purchased a less expensive version of this bottle, and it works far more efficiently.

label flakes off
i love using wash bottles & decided to transition away from the narrow-mouth bottles i have been using for years, switching to wide-mouth instead.these looked perfect & i chose them because it sounded like they were durable & i liked the "permanent" label. the good news is that the bottles in this listing have plastic that feels strong but still flexible, they leak less than others i've used, & it seems that they'll last a long time, which was all exactly what i was hoping for considering i spent a little over 40 dollars for the set of four. unfortunately, on my very first day of using one, the label is already flaking off. i did not scratch or drop it but i can see that the label was not smooth there- almost like a bubble or defect. of course, even though i'm now looking at the bottle each time & trying to avoid that spot with my hand, it keeps flaking because each squeeze flexes the spot. i regret purchasing these & really wish i would have gone with the plain ones without a label (which are also less expensive per bottle).
