The Golden Gift Box Store Has Created the Perfect Present for Wine Lovers!
Sometimes, I think wine, like chocolate, should be one of the basic food groups along with meats, vegetables, fruits, and breads. I love wine. Barefoot Red Moscato is my favorite. Wine is good for you. It is loaded with antioxidants that prevent cancer. Therefore, I was excited for an opportunity to review the Wine Lovers Gift Box from the Golden Gift Box Store. It is an awesome gift box. It is very appropriate for anyone who loves wine. It is a gift that is appropriate for any reason and for any season. Because I've been a good boy this year (LOL), I decided to give the Wine Lovers Gift Box to myself. I allowed it to sit on my fireplace hearth for nearly a week before diving in to it. Opening it was like opening Pandora's Box. It has a lot of fun surprises in it. It is definitely worth the $34.99 for which it is currently being sold on Amazon at the time of this review. After conducting some research, I have listed the items in the box and the approximate cost for each one. Some items I was able to locate on Amazon or other websites. I found the cost of items that were very similar. Others I had to estimate myself based on forty years of personal shopping. Here is my breakdown: 1) Member's Mark Rainbow Tumbler - $9.95. This is an extremely high-end stainless steel tumbler with very thick walls and a top-notch lid with a mouth piece that has its own sliding door. This beautiful, slick, stylish rainbow tumbler does a wonderful job of keeping my wine cold until I can finish drinking it. 2) Wine Slush - Red or White Natural Flavors - Berry Pomegranate - Blend or Freeze - $11.66. This powdered mix makes an extremely delicious, extremely addictive wine drink. I cut the ingredients by one-third in order to make one slushy ice drink that was perfect for just me. I made it using a bottle of black berry wine that I had already opened. I'm going to have to purchase a cannister of this myself. Amazon sells a three-pack of this exact product. 3) Kate Aspen Pineapple & Palms Bottle Stopper - $6.97. This wine bottle stopper is worth every penny. It has a genuine cork, making one able to squeeze it into most any size bottle. Just twist it around until it goes deeper into the wine bottle, making it leakproof. It is a very large, decorative, highly functional wine bottle stopper. I will cherish it for years. Pineapples are symbols of friendship. Many people have them in their homes. 4) Wine Novelty Socks - "If You Can Read This Bring Me A Glass of Wine" - $5.95. These socks, or a similar version, are sold all over the internet. I already own a pair, but they are much larger. These in the wine gift box are more suitable for a woman. They appear to be 100% cotton. I have worn them; they are small on me, but very comfortable. I hand washed them in cold water and hung them up to dry. They didn't shrink any. 5) Short Jar Candle with Black Lid - $5 - This candle has a large wick and burns easily. It has a very pleasant scent. I have burned it in my fireplace at night. In order to snuff out the flame, simply put the lid back on the jar. Burning this candle is fun, easy, and safe. It helps to create a wonderful atmosphere. 6) J & M Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies, 2.5 Ounces, 140 Calories Per Serving, 2.5 Servings - $2.90. Expensive, but very delicious cookies. They are best ate with milk instead of wine. I would love to have a larger box of these. The expiration date on the bottom of this box is 27 FEB 2021. That is a very good date. Of course, my cookies were gone before the end of August 2020. 7) Sahale Snacks - Maple Pecans Glazed Mix, 1.5 Ounces, 220 Calories Per 1.5-Ounce Bag - $4.49. This is a scrumptious, albeit very expensive, treat with a strong maple scent. They are created to taste like pieces of a baked pecan pie. I emptied the bag into a small bowl and munched on this unusually yummy treat while drinking wine from my tumbler. 8) The gift box itself is worth $5.00. It is a strong, durable cardboard box with some artificial white curly que grass inside. The box has a nice design of wine bottles on its cover. The total for the above is $51.92. This wine gift box is definitely worth the money. I would love to receive it as a present (and wouldn't feel guilty because I thought the giver gave too much money for it) and I would love to give it as a present. Winter would be nice for receiving this. At night, when it is very dark and cold, I love to cozy up to my fireplace, which has candles burning brightly in it, and watch a scary movie while sipping on a glass of Red Moscato and munching on popcorn. In fact, I have already watched several classic horror movies while sipping wine from the rainbow tumbler, which I absolutely love. It has become one of my favorite tumblers. I have slipped on my wine socks, turned off the lights, lit my candle in the fireplace and got comfy on my reclining sectional. The Wine Lovers Gift Box has created the perfect atmosphere for watching horror movies. Now, I can't wait for winter. (The summer here in Eastern Tennessee has been very wet, hot, and humid.) The Wine Lovers Gift Box from the Golden Gift Box Store will make an awesome Christmas gift for the wine lover in your life. I highly recommend it. In fact, I'm seriously considering purchasing one for a former supervisor who was very generous at my retirement party.Note: When I was storing the empty Wine Lover's Gift Box for possible re-usage, I noticed that there was a sticker on its bottom, which read the following: Best By 04-30-2021. This is a very good date. All the perishables were gone before August 2020, except for the Wine Slush. The Wine Slush has "BEST BY MAR 2023" printed on the bottom of its cannister. I failed to mention this in my original review of the Wine Lover's Gift Box.Update: Recently, the cork broke off my Kate Aspen Pineapple & Palms Bottle Stopper. I was very disappointed. My advice to those who receive the Wine Lovers Gift Box is to not forcibly insert the wine bottle stopper too deep into the bottle. Gently insert it down far enough in order to form an adequate seal. If you have to keep twisting and turning the pineapple with a lot of force in order to extract the stopper, then you are going to tear the cork right off the pineapple decoration. I recommend that the company put a more durable wine bottle stopper in place of the Kate Aspen Pineapple & Palms Bottle Stopper. If you give the Wine Lovers Gift Box as a gift, you may want to warn the recipient about this wine bottle stopper's flaw.

Really not sure what to think of this
So what we have here is a sort of gift basket, supposedly for win lovers. I'll admit I popped on this for the food stuffs, but....well...Anyway, this comes with a bunch of reletively varied items. First off, there's socks with a message on it. Perhaps a fun little novelty for some, personally I don't get the appeal of that sort of thing in general. There's also a cork with a pineapple shaped topper on it....why? Why would you use THAT design for a wine cover? Weird. It also comes with a candle....it's a candle. Not sure what it has to do with wine, per se. That one is for the Good Will pile. The best of the non-edibles is the tumbler -- it's a nice metal cup that freezes well and keeps things pretty cold. It even has a sipping cover, though it's not a full cover so you can't use it for cocktail shaking or anything. As for the edibles....well. The cookies are ok. Not a huge fan of fruit in cookies, but cranberries are reletively benign, so they were pretty good. The nut mix, contrary to how the package looks, is more than glazed nuts, it's also dried fruit. again, it's not bad...but a bit misleading. Both of these are also one time short things which kinda just....seem out of place. And finally is the drink mix. It's basically fancy Kool Aid and is meant to make a sort of wine punch, or alternatively a wine slushie. As someone else suggested, who would a 'wine lover' want this? Seems like a waste. It does give a suggestion for a 'virgin' version using ginger ail, but I'm not about to buy soda just for that. With the right proportions it's not HORRIBLE as a mixed drink by itself, granted.Still, I again just wonder....what's the point of it all? I suppose a lot of people like this sort of gift basket concept, but it doesn't gel with me. I honestly just can't wrap my head around the whole concept.

Maple Pecan Mix And The Oatmeal Cookies Are Great. Awesome Customer Service
Review of Wine Lovers Gift Box - Wine Gift Basket, Socks, Stemless Glass, Wine Snacks - Gifts for Him and Her (Rainbow Tumbler) ASIN: B07R7CZXSMReviews for several versions are mixed together. I received the Rainbow Tumbler which included J&M Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies (2.5oz), Sahale Snacks Maple Pecan Glazed Mix, a stainless steel wineglass, a pair of gag socks, a candle, a stopper and a wine slushy mix (the powder portion). The Maple Pecan Mix is absolutely awesome. The Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies were great.I ran into a labeling issue and contacted the seller asking about this as a question and the seller was responding in real time, no delays, etc. The seller was very polite and courteous and based upon the tone and rapidity of the responses I am convinced that this was something simply overlooked and will be corrected. The gag socks are just that so not much to say.The candle had a very pleasant fragrance that they called “salon.”The wine stopper is fairly tall with a gold colored pineapple top and what seems to be natural cork. Not a fan of non-glass wineglasses but seems fairly well made for a stemless metal wineglass. It also includes a coffee tumbler style lid with a slide to open/close.I have yet to try the slushy mix as I consider watering wine and further diluting with ice to be a crime.
