3D Orange Degreaser 1 Gallon - Citrus Multi-Surface Cleaner | Removes Grease & Grime from Plastic, Metal, Vinyl, Leather, Carpet | Interior & Exterior Use

I was hesitant to purchase this since I am super sensitive to artificial/chemical scents, but after reading reviews I decided to take a chance..SO happy I did! Smells just like the way more expensive Ecos brand I've been using for 20+ years. I compared their ingredients and they're essentially the same. This one uses only natural orange oil and doesn't add any synthetic fragrances like most other professional-sized orange cleaning products. Works great and smells even better, like freshly peeled oranges, and extremely wallet-friendly. Kind of a unicorn in the janitorial supply section. Orange oil concentrate is, imo, the most versatile product one can have on hand for all household tasks. I dilute about 1 oz in a 32 oz spray bottle to use on countertops, toilets, floors, etc..pretty much all surfaces. To make a super cheap glass/floor cleaner I'll use 1/8 oz and 2 oz vinegar diluted in water. Occasionally I'll add a few drops to laundry that is especially grimy. Excellent for cleaning wood furniture. And, of course, it's a miracle worker when used full strength on stubborn sticky stuff like price tags and gum (you might want to wear gloves when using full strength). I don't normally write reviews but felt this product deserved one because of its high quality, natural ingredients and excellent value. Hopefully more big business cleaning supply companies will follow suit and eliminate artificial fragrances.. (a girl can dream..)

Im not sure why you wouldnt use this. I use it for professional use. Best degreaser ive ever used. Upholstery, carpets, tires, bugs. It does it all

I wanted to use this on cleaning my Rangehood, which is pretty heavy with grease. I soaked the parts in this, it needs a few hours to get the grease dissolved. It would be perfect if it actions faster.

I use this on engine bays and wheels. It works well. I like that I can mix it different ratio's depending what I am doing. It lasts a long time. Way easier and cheaper then buying single bottles of cleaners. It's never damaged anything I use it on.

I bought this with one purpose in mind - to clean the engine on my '07 Hummer H3 (although I'm sure I'll find more uses!). We’ve had the H3 since it was new, and we would routinely wipe down the trim under the hood, but I had never before washed the engine/engine bay on the poor girl. By the time I finally washed it, it had probably been over a year since I had even wiped the engine trim. HOWEVER… after ~1.5 hours of TLC, I believe the results on the attached photos speak for themselves! The instructions don’t state a dilution ration, so I started out with a 50/50 dilution in a spray bottle on the inside of the hood. Before I finished I was using the product at 100%. Recommendations: 1) I’ll admit upfront that I’ve been nervous about spraying water under my hood. I conducted a lot of researching before trying this, but it wasn’t as scary as I always thought it would be. If you haven’t cleaned an engine before, I recommend a little research to alleviate concerns. 2) Make sure you clean your engine in the shade, with a cool-slightly warm engine. Keep in mind that you will likely have a lot of grease and grime washing away, so pick an appropriate spot. 3) Cover the alternator and any important electronics with a small towel and a plastic bag. 4) Having an assortment of brushes (different shapes and sizes) is helpful. 5) Start with the inside of the hood, then move on to the engine. 6) Spray (let it set for a couple of minutes) -> Scrub/Agitate -> Rinse. 7) When all rinsing is done, use compressed air or a leaf blower to remove as much water as possible. 8) Dry with microfiber towels. 9) Apply dressing. I used foaming tire shine on the plastic trim. I recommend whatever you use that you make sure it doesn’t attract dust. Ensure you ONLY spray it on plastic and rubber trim. 10) Clean any overspray off of the exterior surfaces of the vehicle ASAP (at east flush well with water). 11) Use a wax or paint sealant on the painted areas. Pros: Powerful grease cutter, pleasant smell, works as advertised. Cons: No dilution ratios listed on the label (video on the product page states 4:1), not the cheapest degreaser, no spray bottle included (yeah, I’m nit-picking a bit). Bottom Line: I recommend this product!

I had high hopes for the 3D Orange Degreaser given its organic citrus formula and multi-surface claims. On the cleaning front, it does a pretty good job! It tackled grease and grime on my tools, garage floor, and even some stubborn spots on my car interior without much trouble. The citrus scent is pleasant and not overpowering, which I appreciate. However, I ran into two issues that knocked it down to three stars. First, the color is not UV stable, so if you’re using it outdoors, expect it to fade or discolor pretty quickly under sunlight. Secondly—and more importantly—it oxidized the aluminum surfaces I used it on. I didn’t notice at first, but after a few hours, there was a dull, chalky residue left behind, and I had to do some extra polishing to fix it. Overall, it’s a solid cleaner for certain tasks, but it’s not as “universal” as advertised. Be cautious about where you use it, and avoid anything aluminum unless you want an extra project on your hands!
