BBQr's Delight Cast Iron Smoker Pot is specifically made for use with wood smoking pellets. There are no holes in the pot. When heated, smoke emerges from between the base and the top. Smoke starts slower but lasts longer. Use in Charcoal, Ceramic, Gas , even electric cookers for true smoke flavor. To increase the smoke volume flip the lid over onto it's back.

Nice Product
Excellent little product that produces a little smoke flavor for the average griller. Adds just a hint of flavor from wood smoke that is missing from the gas/charcoal grill experience. Only drawback is finding a place to place it on my gas grill so it gets enough heat to start the smoke process.

Smoke without a smoker
Looking for the perfect smoke - have tried the smoke boxes and this seams to work. After a few uses it apears to be rusting but that is to be expected with any cast iron product. Will re-oil from time to time but happy with purchase

Worth buying
It works better with pellets for me. Smokes for about an hour and produces a good amount of smoke. I use it in my gas smoker. Glad I bought it.

Adds that little extra kick of smokiness that a straight charcoal fire might lack for you. I use it in a drum smoker to amp up the flavor.Clean-up is simple--just dump the cold ashes into trash.
