Good Value
I lke these brushes. I have some that are softer and some that are stiffer. These are medium and have worked well so far.

Good wash brush for watercolors
I don't paint large pictures where I would need a brush this big, but I use it to lay down my initial washes in watercolor.

Polar-Flo Brushes-Great Value!
You can spend $15-$40 for a single watercolor brush or you can use common sense, spend wisely and use Polar-Flo’s. They hold a lot of water, they keep a point maybe not as good as $40 brush but darn close. They don’t shed. Even my old sometimes shaky hand, I can still do a mean line and edge. They get very good reviews by quite a few YouTube watercolorists in their tutorials. I now have six Polar-Flo’s and with a couple of exceptions for brush sizes they don’t make, I’m a happy camper.

On Point
These are super nice. The shapes, edges, and text are all exacting and streamlined. The handfeel is nice. The brush is very soft and luxurious. These could easily double as makeup brushes. There is nothing cheap feeling about these at all.Just make sure you do NOT get turpentine on them, or you're going to have a bad time.

Great quality for the price
I'm rough with my brushes and don't normally use sables or other expensive brushes. The Polar Flos are surprisingly nice and seem to take my hard use with flair. The edges remain sharp and I believe these brushes will last a long time. I've not noticed any broken or loose bristles. the handles are plastic and easy to hold. When I need to replace them, I'll buy more Polar Flo brushes.

watercolor brush
This is not a very thirsty brush. It doesn't hold much water. It's also rather stiff.

Avoid this brush!
1/4" Flat WC Brush: I suppose it will work OK; however, it looks cheap, real cheap. Clear plastic handle is 7/32" thick and 5.5" long ( not including the ferrule) with a tapered, actually - a chisel end. If it had just a normal rounded end then it would be a normal bush. This is more like a prison make-shift weapon. I do not think it was supposed to have a sharp edge on it, but it did. I rounded it off on my patio concrete. It does not look pretty anymore (it never did), but at least now it will not poke me when I handle it. I do NOT recommend this brush. For the price $7, you can get a much better brush at Blick's or Cheap Joe's. 2 Stars, avoid!

I have only tried the large brush so far and it seems to work OK. Not my favourite but is a reasonable brush for my use
