Great Budget Friendly Tool!
This is a very nice ferrule crimp kit. It works great for individual wires as well as multiple wires. The crimper works great and provides tight crimps. It was very nice having multiple size ferrules to fit a variety of wires. I would definitely recommend for a budget friendly tool.

Great for wiring LED strips
These things are awesome. So much better than twisting or solder-tinning the wire ends. I'm using the smallest size of ferrule from this kit (white strain relief collar) with 20 AWG 3-pin pigtails to connect addressable LED strips to a WLED controller with Wago-style spring clamp terminals. With the crimp ferrules, I'm not at all worried about wire strands getting loose and shorting stuff out. The ferrules also make it a lot easier to swap out connections if you need to change wiring once the controller box is already mounted.

If youโve never used these, theyโll change your life
I first came across wire ferrules in my early days of performing maintenance on industrial machinery. Any panel maker who takes pride in his/her work will make good use of these and itโs easy to see why. Most hook-up wire uses stranded conductors for numerous reasons, but their fatal flaw is difficulty keeping the individual strands tidy while trapping them under a screw terminal or something similar. Ferrules solve this problem in such a magnificent way that once youโve experienced the pleasure of using them youโll question how you managed to go so long without them in your life. Even if all you use these for at home is tidying up the ends of speaker wire before trapping them in your amp and speaker, youโll be happier with than without them. The ferrules in this kit are good quality. Theyโre copper with what I assume is a tinned finish. Good, not great, because the finish will scrape off when bitten by a screw terminal. This means theyโre more susceptible to oxidation than if they had a sturdier finish, but itโs no worse than if you were using exposed copper conductors alone, as most speaker wire and general purpose hookup wire typically does. Itโs not a big deal, however. In most cases the oxidization on copper is only surface level and can be removed with contact cleaner and light abrasion and further prevented with an appropriately rated dielectric grease. The crimping tool, however, isnโt great. It makes a bit of an ugly crimp compared to the ones Iโve used at work. The jaws have a tad bit too much clearance and donโt come together perfectly evenly so small portions of the ferrule will get trapped between them and make little tabs at 1 or 2 corners of the final crimp. Again, not a huge deal. Otherwise it ratchets smoothly and is easy to get enough leverage on to crimp all the way up to the 7ga ferrules that are included.

Both the tool and the ferrules have been great.
Both the tool and the ferrules have been great. I got some 28awg ferrules as well and the tool crimped those well too.

Great tool to keep you cables clean
I love these connectors, stick them on your bare wire and crimp with the included crimper and you have a nice solid connection with no strands of cable sticking out. I've used all the sizes that came with this this kit and had no issues with any of them coming apart.
