VIPMOON 24 Keys Wireless LED Controller with DC 5V/12V/24V IR Remote Controller for RGB 3528 5050 SMD LED Strip Lights

This little bit of kit is amazing. Not only is it full of features but it's working range is brilliant. I bought it to remotely operate some LED strips that I'd installed in the hood of our garden water feature and the units control module sits behind a 5mm thick UPVC screen. I had assumed that, due it's fairly small handset, would mean having to get close to the module in order to operate it, and thereby the lights. In actual fact, I can point the handset at the hood and achieve complete control from nearly ten metres away, which in think is amazing and much better than anticipated.

I recently bought the black 360 version of this but then it slowly stopped working after a month or two, even though it was more practical because you could use it anywhere in the room. Bought another of them but then the same happened, so I bought the original remote which is this white one. I know it’s not a battery problem because I replaced the batteries, but the white one works perfectly even after months, it’s just less practical because you have to point it directly at the receptor with nothing in the way. Overall great product! Love my led lights and the remote, thanks!

These remote controls really do help with our led strips in the motorhome. Having 2 controls means we can switch on or off wherever we are. Excellent

I ordered this controller along with a 10 metre RGB led strips kit as an add on item as I felt the room I hoped to light would look better with the two sides of it having independent lighting so one side could be on when the other is off etc.It arrived in a small box containing an identical remote control to the other controller package I ordered. Obviously I considered it wise to test it so plugged one of my 5 metre led strips into it and connected the power. It lit up perfectly with the same brightness as the other controller. I pressed the red button and the whole strip lit up red. I then pressed the green button, the strip lit up blue.I was initially confused as to why this was and to be honest still don't have a definitive answer. I tried other colours and found the blue button made it light up green and a lot of the other shades to be wrong and yellow to be purple.The only conclusions I have come to is that I have been given a faulty product or the manufacturers have wired the red green and blue in the wrong order. I therefore cannot in any way recommend this product as it doesn't work properly.

I bought this as a replacement controller for one that had broken. One of the features I was particularly keen on was the ability to "reprogramme" the RGB ordering. At the moment, this controller is ok for the red LEDs but has green and blue the wrong way round. I tried following the instructions to switch the ordering, but no luck so far. I might persevere a bit longer, of I may just bite the bullet and resolder the connections to get the right order.Other than the the controller seems ok.
