SwansonFiberAid - Larch Tree Arabinogalactan (AG) Powder - Fiber Drink Mix Promoting Digestive Health and Supports Gastrointestinal Health - (8.8oz)

My husband and I have been taking this product for years now, only one scoop a day each, and have noticed a huge change in our fecal elimination (gross as that may sound!!). Almost no wiping needed, whereas when we don't take it consistently, we go through toilet paper much faster! It is almost tasteless, slightly sweet, and easy to mix into our smoothies or drinks! We do need to drink more water to keep things moving well, but what a great pre-biotic and one we will continue to take as a main staple supplement.

Really good product. Made in USA. It comes as a fine powder with a slight semi-sweet non-offensive odor. I've never added it to water, only oatmeal and/or carrot juice. I started taking it because I was stuck on a low FODMAP diet. I don't know if arabinogalactan helps my microbiome but it certainly hasn't upset my gut, so I continue to use it. I would prefer it didn't come in a dark plastic container.

I bought it to add to a green drink to help natural fermentation and growth of a good bacteria in the thin intestine, for better metabolism and weight loss, according to a suggestion of some ND nutrition book. I am taking it for over a month and didn’t notice anything yet. At least it doesn’t taste or smell and it looks all right.

I am using this for myself and for my 2 rescue dogs because of research showing decreases in cancer cell growth with this product. There is no discernible flavor so easy to mix with hot coffee or smoothies. My dogs came to me with serious health issues and both have shown great improvement. Ingesting arabinogalactan fiber every day is part of our health regimen. 4 stars because I can't say with assurance how much of the credit goes to this product. I am sure however, it does help.

I use in addition to daily probiotics. This was recommended to me to use as good prebiotic.

No reason to dislike it, can’t taste it. I’m using it at recommendation for gut health protocol healing phase. I guess it’s working?

Disappointed that it has a bit of a chemical odor. The taste isn't as strong, but there's a chemical note to it, also. Recent reviews stated this product is tasteless and odorless, so I bough it instead of a more expensive brand. I will now try the more expensive brand and compare.
