They leak
These were the size I was looking for, however, the claim that they don't leak was not accurate for me. I used them for salad dressing and once for milk and they leaked both times. I ended up just throwing them in the trash. Don't waste your money.

They leak every time I use them
I bought a bunch of these and used them to bring yogurt to work every day for 3+ months, and every day they leaked. I got used to putting them in a ziplock bag to deal with this, but that's a lot of ziplock bags wasted. I thought maybe it was me using them wrong somehow, but then when I was washing them I tried filling them with water, closing them as tight as I could, and squeezing them, and they definitely leaked (water and air came out).So I definitely wouldn't recommend these for anything liquidy. Only for completely dry food. The tops don't twist off, but since they're not air- or water-tight, there's not a lot of point to them. I'll have to replace them with something else.

Just right size, easier to clean shape, easy on/off secure lid
These twist on lids are more secure than the snap on lids, especially for anything with liquid, and easier to get on and off - snap on lids are either a bit of a struggle to pry off, or they aren't as secure, or the inevitable bending that takes place as they are pried off will eventually crack them somewhere (especially if used in the freezer). The screw on/off lids don't have that problem. These are my favorite storage containers, and the 1.2 cup size is a perfect single-serving portion, not too big, not too small. I like the small ridges on the edge of the lid and the cup to grip while turning. And finally, it may seem like a small nuance, but I like that they are a smooth round bowl shape, which is easier for hand washing (I don't have a dish washer) - a quick round swish inside gets it clean, without having to focus on ridges, corners or nooks and crannies, such as the Glad or ZipLoc comparable containers (yes, the ridges where the holding area is molded in are slight, but a careless swish while hand washing can miss food that may have dried on along those ridges and I always feel compelled to run the cloth specifically along every ridge - it's a small thing but a nuisance that adds up when you hand wash everything, and a nice thing to NOT have to do with these perfectly round interiors of the Rubbermaid version).

Great If You're On Weight Watchers
Being on Weight Watchers means I have to portion out my food. Every. Single. Day. These are awesome. I ordered two 4-packs. They're convenient for packing snacks. I don't overeat. And I save on plastic bags by using these reusable containers. I haven't tested this with liquids such as soup or dressing. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Will update if I ever use it for soup. Still a solid product.

BPA Free and Made in the USA
The Rubbermaid TakeAlongs Twist & Seal 1.2-cup (9.6oz or 284ml) storage containers work great for lunches, snacks and leftovers. They wash easily in the top rack of the dishwasher. (I put a non-metal spatula or spoon on top to keep them from flipping over.) Both container and lid are sturdy. I have other Rubbermaid containers that have lasted for several years; hopefully, these will as well. I've not had problems with leakage, odors or stains after several months of use. The screw-top lid is more comfortable to grasp and easier to open/close than the thin, blue plastic type that eventually develop a tear at the tab. (Helpful for those with arthritis.) You can see the contents through the container. Stacks easily in the refrigerator. Worked great for freezer strawberry jam. Leave at least 1/2" headspace to allow for food expansion during freezing. The containers are listed as microwave safe, but I do not microwave food in plastics any more so I can't speak to that. I highly recommend these containers.

Rounded bottom on bowls makes them frequently topple instead of staying stacked
Eight of these were purchased to be used for daily portioned cat food. The top parts are great in that the lid screws on (haven't used liquid in them so cannot attest to the leaking problem some purchasers have complained about). Here is the problem I have and I have to say it's big enough to make me regret this purchase. The bowls and lids were made to stack but the bottom of the bowls is so rounded, they are constantly toppling over. It is incredibly annoying. If I knew about this beforehand, I would never have purchased these.

Best little storage cup on earth
Don't know why, but the stores stopped carrying these little 10-ounce wonders. Thank God I found them at Amazon, just bought a dozen more. I use these for everything. What distinguishes them from other storage is two fold: a) shape and b) inner slickness. The latter matters a bunch when mixing things. These are perfect for mixing hard-to-dissolve stuff like gelatin, cocoa, yeast, whey protein. That's the primary use. They are also perfect for upper left freezer compartment rack in some standard old fridge design like GE from 40 years ago. Stuff them with the chopped black olives you removed from a can, then freeze it (make sure the olives are quite loose, first). Same, for say some aromatic salt you make (put garlic and excessive seasoned salt in oil, then pop corn until burnt, scoop out the popcorn, scoop the salt into the cup).

Perfect for my use
I mix up my yogurt, protein powder and fruit the night before. These make great cups to store all that in --- and of course, I'm sure there are hundreds of other uses, but that's what I bought these for and they are PERFECT !!!!!!!

Twist caps are better than old snap on type cap IMO
They hold a medium Tomato, which has been cut up, perfectly. Seal well, and I like the twist caps better than the old snap on caps.

Good size but thin plastic.

Good containers
Good containers for snacks, sauces, etc. They do tend to fall over when I reach into my cabinet though, they're a bit unstable.

Leak
These leak often. Without tipping over. Even when lid is carefully closed tightly.
