The toy takes 3 x LR44 button-type batteries (supplied) which power the various sounds and lights on the top of the cab.

Do the truck doors open ?

The truck doors don't open unluckily but it is a very sturdy truck

Is it durable and strong enough for a 3 year old to play with?

Yes it is a good toy to play with. It's light in weight but not that strong a bit flimsy but suitable for a child of 3 years old. Don't know about the durability only time can tell that. I recommend it as my child loves it a lot.

I want one

Bought for my ‘Binmen’ obsessed almost 3 year old little girl. I brought it out the box and I wanted to keep it , it’s got a wee pull in it to release the batteries so I didn’t touch that part but I think it will be great. I love how it’s so similar to a bin truck my daughter loves watching out our window for them. I think she’ll love thisGreat packaging, vibrant green, lovely wee handle on the packaging box, hopefully it’s durable and sturdy. Definitely good value

Fairly sturdy, not huge but a great favourite with a toddler

Loved by a toddler. Stores a few cars!! Only part that has detached is the rear gate but he doesn't seem to mind. Loves the noises!

Very sturdy toy for 2y old

My son is almost 2 years old and he loves this toy. He plays with it every day, throws it around, sits on it, etc. It still hasn't broken down. It is also very noisy, so I am tempted to take out the batteries. He loves it so much that we went and bought the fire brigade as well. Now twice as noisy but we have a happy toddler.

Great sturdy truck great size but don't make same mistake I did thinking it was battery powered and moved it is FRICTION powered!!! Sure my grandson will love it nonetheless
