Proctor Silex Electric Buffet Server & Food Warmer With Lids

Great product. We use it for the holidays and is not only elegant but functional. I find it easier to use than the chafing dishes. Not having to deal with the hot water situation is a plus for me. The product is light in weight but pretty sturdy . It works great. It will turn off by itself after a few hours so our food was not burned or dry. It is Very elegant and I got lots of compliments on my food presentation. All in all it is a great product. I shopped around and the price is right for this product. You can find cheaper one but I went for this because of the brand name

I spent a lot of time reading reviews, looking at sizes, & comparing prices before I made this purchase! I bought 2 for a retirement party. One we used as a flat warmer for a large pan of fried chicken, the other we used with the trays in for meatballs & sauce for meatball sandwiches. The temperature is adjustable from warm to hot. The lids fit well with a slot for the utensils if you want to keep the spoon in the food. There's a metal piece to put in the back of the trays that will hold the lids while you are serving food. I didn't use them but did try them out before the party. They work, I just didn't need them. They cleaned easily, and store perfectly in the box w/ molded Styrofoam that keeps all the pieces from rattling around. We used them again for a large family Christmas party this past weekend. This time we only needed them for the flat heated units for 2 large trays of fried chicken. The buffet servers were a hit & everyone wanted to know where we bought them! We will get many years of use out of them; I definitely recommend spending a few extra dollars for this particular brand.

I absolutely love this buffet server and food warmer. It’s far more practical than traditional warmers that rely on candles or warming oils. The adjustable temperature works well and keeps food warm evenly without hassle. It’s easy to set up, simple to use, and feels like good quality for the price. Overall, this is a convenient, reliable option that I’d highly recommend for gatherings and everyday use.

I love the look of the warmer, I opened the box today and it was damaged . It heats up well and it would have been perfect . I need it for a bachelorette party tomorrow otherwise I would return it

I'll update if anything changes but christmas dinner was a big hit! I kept checking my counters to make sure they didn't get too hot and the medium high setting didn't even warm my counters. I think some of the reviews that had ruined tables and counters must have had it on the highest setting for a really long time? If you are aware this can happen, you can avoid it. I bought 2 units and they both came in perfect condition. For the price, even if they only work for a couple dinners, it's worth it. I don't have to perfectly time all the food and i can clean up cooking pans and trays so dinner is seamless. And after they can just be put straight in the fridge. They make dinner less stressful for sure.

Wow Very Nice purchased 2 going to use for Thanksgiving having friends over shall b Perfect they are made Very Nice Extremely Pleased 😀

I made a mistake by not opening this item because it came inside a box, inside of its factory packaging, and it looked pretty secure. I just opened it up because I need it for an event tomorrow, and the base is totally busted (made of cheap plastic). I have a plan for getting it fixed, but it won't be replaced by tomorrow and now I have no idea what to do. Let this be your warning to open the box as soon as it arrives because even the best packaging might contain a damaged package

We've had this for 3 years and we use it almost every time we entertain a larger group of guests. This warmer is easy to use and even easier to clean. One of the lids did develop a crack, but it was due to being dropped and not a flaw in the design. We've used it for everything from breakfast bars to pasta bars to keeping hotdogs and hamburger patties warm. Trusty and reliable!
