2.5 Inch Dome/Paperweight 4X Magnifier w/Pouch

I am legally blind and have been to a low-vision specialist who recommended I buy a paperweight magnifier for reading. I bought one directly from the hospital for almost $80, so when I saw this one for so much cheaper, I was a bit skeptical.this looks exactly like the one I bought at the hospital, with the same level of magnification, for a fifth of the price. I can't recommend it enough

Good quality. Bought this for my mom, who is legally blind. She cannot actually read with it, but can pick out a word or two using it. It would be good for anyone (like me, who wears reading glasses), to see the fine print on labels, phone books, etc. Very nice item.

It is a nice magnifier; I would've given it 5 stars if it would magnify x4 as it says, but it's not. It only magnifies 2 times, but it works fine for most small print. There are some very small print that it does not catch, so here it is 4 stars for. The price/quality ratio is good.

This magnifier is great for my visually impaired daughter. We have been looking for a magnifier similar to the one she uses at school and this one is almost identical. It is the perfect size for her little hands, she's 7. It is lightweight so she isn't struggling to hold it and it won't weigh down her bag since she takes this with her. I love that it came with a velvety storage pouch to prevent it from getting scratched when stored or when stuck in her backpack.

Plastic but they have not scratched at all and are overall very durable (I have 2).. They are distortion free. A very helpful item for those of us with visual impairments and a decent value for the money. .

I have great vision but have to read small blue prints for work, it is a lifesaver. No more eye strain and it is easy to use.

Received this item, which was intended to be a gift, with a scratch on it on the top of the dome.

Somehow I expected a bit more magnification out of this, but otherwise it's fine. It's not glass, it's acrylic, so it will scratch easily, hence the 4/5.
