Better than Ernie ball by a long shot
I play a banjolele and wish I had gotten these strings first. I bought Ernie balls and they were barely better than the cheep strings that came on it. Then I bought these and wow! Bright, loud, and hold tune once they are stretched properly. I have been using them for a while now and they still sound great and I haven't snapped a string yet.

Great for really old banjo ukes
These were for an antique banjolele restoration job, already had super nylguts on my other uke, easy choice. They play and sound great. These particular strings are supposed to sound warmer than the other Aquila banjo ukulele strings, probably a good thing for these little old models as they tend to sound kinda dinky. Can't say the old girl sounds like a million bucks (never really did, nice uke however), more like 8 or 9 hundred grand though, basically these strings make it sound as good as it possibly can and I love the tone very much, no way it ever sounded this good before, more of a lower end than I expected. These take several days to break in and hold their tune well. Why red though?

Great strings
These are very good strings. They work well on my banjo ukulele. My fingers don’t get sore after playing with these like they did with other strings.

Love this brand of strings.
I have used and loved Aqulia strings on guitars and banjos I have made. So when I made a Banjolele for a great niece this was logical choice. They sound Great!

Sweet strings
One of the reviews for the banjolele said that these strings are essential to making it sound great... no complaints here. I had to restring it anyway as I was making it left handed.... I am not a professional but I really like these strings

Great sound
Installed on a ukebango, I had to be careful of the string placement since the only differentiator was the colored dot on each package for each string. After installing and tuning the sound was very good.

Great strings
These felt a little odd at first, but I really like them. Once I broke them in--after playing it a couple times is all, I really liked the feel and the sound is great. Very nice.

Suenan bien las que sobrevivieron.
Suenan muy bien, pero la primera y quinta cuerda se tronaron antes de llegar a afinarse, las pude volver a poner y como en 3 intentos en cada cuerda siempre se volvían a reventar.

5 Stars, only because there is no way of giving more! These strings are just incredible - my KALA Soprano Banjo Ukulele sounds awesome! The Aquila Nylgut strings it came with were O.K. The Worth Browns I swapped them for were better, but these are a quantum leap forward. The idea of controlling the frequency of each string by changing its density rather than its diameter means that all the strings are roughly the same thickness. This makes chord fingering much more consistent, and the sound is brilliant.

Low g not high g as advertise
Got a low g string and the the string snaps so easily, sound good but i got this pack for the high g i already had a low g set
