Well made
I bought these for my girlfriend who likes to do the occasional jigsaw puzzle when she’s stuck inside during winter storms. She’s also become a fan of My Friend Totoro, the first anime she’s ever seen. This is a well-made puzzle that should hold up well for many cycles of assembly and disassembly.

Nice cut out puzzle
Good quality puzzle! There were a few pieces that fit in more than one place but that made it more challenging. Was a nice touch that they added the glue to hang up!

We really like the art work of Miyazaki
The art work of the puzzle does it for us. We saw these puzzles at Disney World and regretted not buying any. We were so happy to find them on Amazon's website. I would have given the review a 5, the pieces are loose when put together. This may be because you can glue it to make a picture, but we just like redoing the puzzle. The delivery was quick and well package.

Great opportunity to work together on this
This puzzle was challenging and brought the children and adults together for two days. Find a place to set it up where it is out of the way, and work on it when you can. There is a glue protective cover that comes with it, but the instructions are in Japanese. I think it is basically saying pour it on and spread it with a little red tool that comes with it and let it dry. It should add sheen and protection so that you can frame it and hang on the wall. Great idea for those who love Studio Ghibli.

Beautiful, difficult puzzle but loose-fitting pieces
THE GOOD: the picture is beautiful and even though it is somewhat small for the piece count, it is still fulfilling to complete. I did it with my wife and three kids (8 yrs, 5 yrs, 3 yrs), since I was able to pass on the masterpieces of Hayao to them with Toturo being the favorite. It was only really hard thanks to the bad below.THE BAD: the cut on the pieces is loose. The pieces, whether in their correct or incorrect place, have such a large amount of movement that it is very easy to put the wrong piece in one place, build off of it only to get stuck later down the line, realizing the culprit was a piece that was wrongly placed. The picture has a large band of white space at the bottom of the puzzle which gives no other reference except the piece cut to know whether it is properly connected. Your brain will melt for sure. This loose-piece-fitting also causes issues when you're trying to move parts of the puzzle even a few inches on a board or table. I don't mean lifting it, even simple sliding will cause the pieces to come undone due to the loose fitting pieces.Overall, it is a beautiful puzzle that even comes with the materials to glue and mount it BUT, the loose fitting pieces and overall poor cut of the puzzle make it frustrating even for seasoned adults. We will almost certainly never do this puzzle again, which is sad because of our love for Hayao.
