Kumon Grade 5 Geometry & Measurement (Kumon Math Workbooks) (Kumon Math Workbooks Grade 5)

Looks like it will work great for my 5th grader this year for homeschooling. A great way to introduce a little Geometry and Measurements. Has a great answer key.

I wanted my fifth grader to practice some geometry principles. This book makes it easy for him to get additional practice outside the classroom. Over the years we have used other math programs but we always come back to Kumon. Kumon seems to have just the right amount of practice to help the child learn the concepts without becoming boring. Another wonderful thing is that the book teaches the child the information. Now my son can learn at his own pace and I can review his work as needed. I love Kumon!

I have found every Kumon book user friendly and age appropriate! The only trouble I have run into with this book is it asks for tools we don’t have handy on some of the pages (like a protractor or a ruler).

The layout is easy to understand but it’s very easy for grade 5 covering the basics of geometry. I was getting it for my 4th grader but many of the concepts they have already covered in class. I wished there was a way to see more images if inside of the to help us determine appropriate level.We always like the Kumon book layout, colorful with expert tips along the sides to explain a new concept. I wished the answered had more explanation so it would still require parent instruction if geometry is new to the child.

This workbook is up to Kumon standards as usual. It's easy to understand and follow through the lessons. I'm a homeschool mom so need lessons that are quick & easy & challenging. Great as extra practice , if other than homeschooled , or as a main curriculum.

All of these KUMON wookbooks are very helpful for my fifth grader. In fact, I got all of the math-related workbooks for the grade. We started using them last year to review problematic areas at school and provide enrichment in the areas where he excels. The pace of the work is perfect.

Kimono books are good practice books for kids

My 9 yr old boy is able to do about half of the book and the other half is providing a challenge for him. This is good because the easy part gives him confidence, but it is not too easy.

Recomendo para crianças em regime de educação domiciliar e também para as crianças que frequentam escolas (públicas ou privadas), uma vez que, por influência dos iluminados do MEC, a matemática já não é tão exata assim, sendo necessário explicá-la levando-se em consideração uma visão geral do mundo e das práticas sociais. :( (Se professores competentes não entendem, imaginem os alunos).AJUDEM VOSSOS FILHOS!Obs.: O fato de estar em inglês não dificulta em nada o aprendizado pois o método é intuitivo. Um dicionário simples inglês - Português é o suficiente.

Great book for working through with your child. Very clear examples and answers to all questions in the back in case your maths is as bad as my wife's.

My son completes one chapter every day. It gives right level of challenge to him.
