VERY Pleased With This Box!
Very happy with this box! I randomly decided to give origami a try and was able to pick up some paper at a local hobby lobby retail store for very cheap (I had a 40% off coupon) ( Origami Folding Paper in Assorted Colors, 500 Sheets approximately 6 Inches Square ). I've been having a blast ever since! At first I was just storing my paper in a little plastic bag the paper originally came in, but I knew early on that I was going to want a way to better protect my paper, and that pulling the paper out of and putting the paper into the plastic bag was a pain. I found this box on amazon and thought it would work perfectly! And...it does! I love how there's cutouts on the sides to place my finger so I can easily get the paper out with no struggle, I like how there's these raised ridges at the bottom where the paper rests so static electricity doesn't build, how nicely it snaps shut (feels very secure), how there's a nice little handle at the top for easy transportation and how perfectly my paper fits into the box. Not really sure what else to say! It's just a great box to store your 6in x 6in origami paper in! Love it!

Good product, well made.
I almost gave this 4 stars because it took awhile for delivery. But then I figured, what the heck, the item(s) arrived, and in good shape, and for free! Five stars it is! These boxes are great -- sturdy, stackable, just the right size for 6" paper, holds around 500 kami-weight paper. Transparent so you can see what's in there. The slots on the side allow you to flip thru your paper and select what you want without messing up the rest of the paper. The latch clips securely, so you can use the handle for transport without the box flipping open unexpectedly and disgorging all the contents. Very handy item, and inexpensive. Now, do they make the same item for 3" paper? That would be great -- hint-hint! Make it high enough to hold 1000 3" paper.

Fabulous cases for origami paper storage
Origami paper cases are just fantastic! They hold my paper, even in when it's still in the plastic shrink wrap, beautifully with room to spare so you can pick up one sheet easily. The cases stack nicely on my shelf for easy storage and compact spaceing. Love them! I give them 10 stars but I only have the option to give up to 5 stars here. :-) if you can purchase multiple boxes for each of your colors, patterns, textures, or however you sort your paper this way you can easily grab a case and know what paper you have for your origami project!

Almost perfect solution to storing origami paper.
I Bought 6 of these in 2 groups of 3. They hold about 400 sheets of standard paper ("kami"), sold in the USA as 6 inch or generally as 150mm or 15cm. There is a little room, but not so much that the paper slides around and gets damaged. The slots on the sides make it easy to lift paper out. In general, a decent design and very useful. (Note that the described dimensions of 6.75 x 2 inches are of the outside of the box, i.e. the size of the box itself, not the paper it is designed to hold. It holds the common 150mm / 15cm / 5-7/8 inch paper.). A few notes: I don't know how long the hinges and clasp will stand up to long use, as they are only a flexing section of the plastic, not a true hinge of separate parts. Similar boxes I've had for arts and crafts eventually fail on the flexed parts. You need to be careful closing the box, to ensure that the tabs on the lid that cover the finger slots on the sides go into place properly on the outside, and that the lid closes with the little alignment pins on the top of the sides are inside the lid, or the lid will skew and the clasp won't snap properly, and the box may be permanently deformed if it remains in that condition very long. One of the first 3 I got arrived not properly closed and since the shipping box was subjected to our triple digit weather for hours, it must now be persuaded to close properly. I use that one to store extra paper supplies so as not to deal with the problem often. Others have noted the ridged bottom ( presumably for strength); I forestall imprinting a pattern on the paper by saving the cardboard squares that come in most paper packages and put one in the bottom of the box. The handle lies flat in the lid so you can stack the boxes. The lid has smooth surface for about half of it, so you can use it as a folding surface for small pieces like modular. I am pleased with the boxes and am glad I bought them.

Love it! But one thing...
I love this box! It is so wonderful to be able to take my origami paper on the go with me. I made an origami case for my bone folder and even that will fit in there! Very good heavy duty plastic but the only thing i don't like is that I guess when you put a lot of paper in it the latch on the inside that keeps it fully closed goes out on one side. To avoid it I realize that you need to close it from straight up and not on an angle. I want to buy another, and someone on here has already said that they stack nicely. Very happy with my purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for.
This cute little origami box is just what I was looking for. My son wanted a small, durable box to carry his papers around in and this is perfect. I'm thinking about buying a second one so he can have more papers, divided by color. It says it holds 400 sheets, this is 200 in it. I'm not sure how durable it is , we haven't dropped yet. And it's kind of a small handle so I wouldn't think it could hold too much weight, but it's just right for carrying around the house. I would recommend this product for sure.

A perfect origami paper storage box!
I absolutely love this little origami paper box! I was storing my paper in the original plastic bag they come in and they were getting bent up and taking a lot of space in my desk drawer. Now they are perfectly organized and safe from any damage. It holds 15 x 15 cm paper perfectly and is of good quality. I just wish I could find one for 4 x 4 paper! It took awhile to get to me but given that it came all the way from Japan to the Midwest in America it wasn't to long. I would recommend this for any origami artist!

Wrong size
I ordered 2 Origami cases #4006 and one Origami case #4588. The number #4006 is advertised as being about 6.75 inches square when in fact it is only 6 inches square. That is my complaint. I was told by Amazon that the only way to remedy this is to place another order for 25 dollars and they will waive the shipping. That is ridiculous and I told them that I will not do it. The Origami case # 4588 is advertised as 15cm square which is correct. Amazon sent me three six inch square cases. I ordered one of #4588 and two of #4006. This has been a hassle and waste of my time.

It's thick plastic easy to open close, has 1 pkt napkins & dyed papers
Perfect size to keep your pkt napkins in why working on a decoupage or journal project stay clean and handy whilst gathering supplies together to start a new project, i actually have 1 pkt napkins plus some ink cartridge stained photocopy paper i stained they are smaller papers i saved from that A4 size print jobs, i purposely shrank a picture job to a smaller size had half a page of white A4 paper left or we all have print problems that we turn into shopping lists lol I read a tip that when your printer tells you to replace a ink cartridge it's empty if you play with the ink head nozzle put cartridge into a large jar overnight you will find the as a example a blue cartridge has still enough ink it to give you enough blue water to soak scraps off the photo copy paper into blue paper for making tiny notepads etc to slip into your home-made journal etc it's up to your imagination what you use it for i have 1 large jar of pink water and 1 large jar of blue water ready for soaking those photocopy papers in i could soak a full size sheet of A4 papers in like you would do tea & coffee dyeing papers , i love sharing journalling tips on here save throwing them into waste and more $$$ in your pockets, i will still dispose of cartridges correctly rather then go into landfill.

I bought this for my nephew's birthday to hold paper and pens and it is just so cute, handy and durable. It is also at a great price-point. I made him a letter-writing/drawing set with paper, pens, stickers and laminated cards with photos of his relatives and friends, and their names on the other side as he's just learning to write. I'll probably buy this again for other children with the same idea. Recommended
