The best
I love these things. I don't wait for a clog to completely block my drains, I buy these things to clean out the drains once a month or so and they work a lot better than any other products I have tried. These are easy on the drains, some of the other snakes are kind of hard, what with the way they fit inside and then the uncertain maneuvering that you have to do with them. One snake I used once almost got stuck in the drain and that is only going to exacerbate the problem. Not this brand. It fits down easy. It's kind of interesting and disgusting to see what hair and other curious gunk these things pull out. Perfect size! And it only takes a few minutes. Could be a bit cheaper, by it all in all, I say they save you money in the long run because they do remove hair and stuff and that saves you a trip from the plumber.

Released a small demon from its cosmic prison
My house was built in 1969 (I know, nice). The previous owners were...not real great at upkeep. The sink in the primary suite bathroom had been running slow since we moved in, and I had enough. I had tried baking soda and vinegar, sink plungers, and my spouse even used drano on it, but nothing helped. This arrived on a Wednesday evening, and Thursday morning I woke up and chose violence. I removed the drain plug, stuffed this thing all the way down the trap, and pulled up...about seven hairs coated in thick slime. I tried again...nothing. I figured the clog was too far down for this thing to reach, so I got my pipe wrench and removed the p trap. The trap was relatively clean, so I pushed the snake into the pipes the disappeared into the wall behind the vanity. Bingo. The...thing...that I pulled out looked -- and smelled -- like an eyeless eldritch horror that had been awakened from its slumber. (See image.) I'm pretty sure that it had been imprisoned in my pipes in order to restore some kind of cosmic balance, but given how rough the last few years have been, I figured it couldn't really do much more harm. The next day, Hurricane Ian ripped through the Florida coastline, and my cat threw up on my bed. Coincidence? PROS: - Made in USA! This is really important to me. - Minimal packaging - no clamshells or oversized cardboard boxes - Much cheaper than many alternative solutions - long enough to reach clogs in the p-trap without having to take it apart - My sink now drains flawlessly and no longer stinks of sulfur and death CONS: - says it's re-usable, but in my case, it really wasn't - plastic isn't my favorite thing for the environment (especially single-use) - won't reach clogs that are further down the drain line unless you have the ability to take out the trap (a problem with most consumer drain snakes, not just this one) - possibly released unspeakable evil into the world (unconfirmed)

Cannot Reuse it Many Times but Still Worth It
I have purchased this drain clog remover a few times now and I am happy with the purchases. It works. I rent and I have a shower drain that isn't very accessible. This millipede fits and pulls out all of the gunk. It is so effective at pulling out gunk that it doesn't want to let it go. It is extremely difficult to clean, so I only use it a few times and purchase another one. It is hard to get the gunk off. It's gross and the tool gradually loses its grippiness because I can't fully clean it. For the price and the functionality, I am OK with periodically repurchasing this tool.

Worth a try.
My first thought when I tried this was WOW! I couldn't believe the hair and gunk I was able to pull out of my tub drain! It. Was. GROSS and smelled awful! I was pleased with how it cleaned it out. However, I could not clean the snake tool itself. Couldn't get it where I felt like it could be used again. It say's reusable but I'd say it's disposable. So I wish it cost less since it's really only good for a single use. For this reason, I can only give it 3 stars.

Really works well to clear drains!
Iโm always amazed at how well this spiny pipe cleaner like device twirls around and easily pulls out all the hair and soap gunk in my sink and shower drains. It doesnโt take much effort. I would share a photo of all the nasty stuff it can capture- but itโs just too disgusting.

Dollar store junk; useless for a bathtub drain
I'm amazed at two things: that I was stupid enough to buy this piece of junk and that so many people gave it a good rating. The description specifically says: "...will remove hair and gunk in a matter of seconds from sinks and tubs." It absolutely will NOT work in tubs because the slightest resistance (like that of a typical tub drain trap) makes it impossible to turn. The little toy plastic handle just spins. I even tried putting locking pliers directly onto the flaky pipe cleaner part in an attempt to manually force that to turn, but it was a no go. I can see that it might work on a sink drain with a simple ball of hair or just accumulated glop in it, but those are easy to clean out by just taking the pipe apart at the trap under the sink. Ten-minute job including cleanup; I do it on a regular basis without this throwaway junk. Note that there's no link to message the seller from Amazon; that should tell you something.

Works great but likely just a one time use
My bathroom sinks were clogged really bad. Particularly my master bathroom was just water standing still. We would have to scoop it out rather than wait the whole hour it would take on its own to drain. This snake fit perfectly under the cover and went right to work! Within minutes I pulled some rather unholy looking hair creatures from my plumbing and after a few more turns my water was running like never before! I cleaned the snake a bit and then headed to my other sink and worked amazing! After these two uses though the poor little snake was pretty worn. I may have been able to clean it more throughly and save for a future need but after seeing what had come in contact with it personally I was pretty grossed out. It would be tedious to clean as well and I decided to throw it away and instead bought another one. The product works great though! I definitely recommend it.

Too good to be true
This was highlighted on one of those "..best purchases of Amazon," links I am a total sucker for and I got suckered on this one. I have super thick, uncontrollably curly hair and perpetually clogged drains, I figured this little invention would grant me the satisfaction of pulling some huge nest of hair out of my drain and unclogging the pipes for the next month. Not, so, fast. First, I suppose if my pipes were straight and without any curve in them, I may have been granted the satisfaction of getting that nest, but my pipes have curves so my hopes and dreams of this feat were soon dashed. The pipe cleaner piece is basically a slightly upgraded version of pipe cleaners you get at a craft store so as soon as that little snake rounds the corner, the cranking ceases to work and you find yourself shoving this silly yellow craft piece up and down your drain, hoping to get any strand of hair to show a sign of success. I got nothing. not one strand. So i found myself running all over my house shoving this thing up and down each drain hoping to satisfy myself, and was left with nothing. I think I could've spared myself the frustration and put the money I spent through my paper shredder.

Fixed our slow draining shower!
We tried the baking soda, vinegar and boiling water tricks but nothing was helping with our clogged drain. Used this for 5-10 minutes and huge clumps of hair came out. It's really only one use but its worth it at this price! Saved us having to get a plumber

Great product!
Great item....the water was very slow going down the plug hole in our bath. I ordered this and it arrived thyroid very next day. Used it once and it pulled out a whole clump of hair and gunk! YUK! Water goes straight down the plug hole now with no problems Easy to clean and have put away for the next time I need it. Would def recommend, works a treat compared to using liquid drain cleaners that never clear anything!

If it fits down the drain, it will work
Moved into my new house and my bath was filling up instantly without the plug in. Remembered I had seen this a while back and ordered straight away, came next day and now my drain is as good as new. Would highly recommend (don't listen to the people who say it's not reusable, they are just too wuss to clean it ๐คฃ)

Really effective but by definition hard to re-use
Great little tool - really cleared out a lot of hair etc from the bath drain. Would buy again. Only slight gripe is that itโs obviously very hard to get clean again in order to store & reuse, but at the price point itโs not really a problem.
